Hi guys, I am interested in clubmaking and I was wondering if anyone can recommend a good place to get started , either course, book or online resource. I was looking at taking some courses offered at golfworks, does anyone have any feed back on them? I also have been doing some reading on trackman U. Any input would be greatly appreciated

You can go to GolfWorks they have all the stuff, You don't really need much to make clubs - I think the min is Swing Weight scale, small cutoff saw, glue, tip weights, grip solvent, grip tape or air and blow the grips on. There really is not much to it. If you want to repair then, heat gun, and shaft puller, and maybe at some point a bender.

I recognize this is an old thread, but wanted to throw out there that I am happy to help anyone with questions. I have built 10+ sets of irons, countless re-gripping using different techniques, built a few drivers and woods, and have designed and prototyped my own putter design that is USGA approved.

Given all the knowledge I have gained from others here, I'd like to help if I can. I'd be willing to do step by step tutorials, walk through the steps for different club building processes (general fitting pointers, assembly, swing weighting, loft/lie adjustments, etc), or share how I went from a paper sketch to 3d CAD model, to functioning putter prototype.
