Hey buckeye. That's why it's called average drive. Tour pros do it it 350 yards. But how they measure the distance is measuring distance on two holes that are going the opposite direction.

When I get home tonight I will see what my average is again. But I believe it was around 300.

Your "average" in the practice round we played had to be pushing 350 yards. You were constantly ahead of CatMan and myself by 100 yards give or take on all par 4's and par 5's and I hit the ball on OptiShot 270, meaning you was 350 to 370 off the tee and who knows what irons you were hitting.

You use an impact screen? Who makes it? Your ball speed has to be near or over 200 mph.

I guess I'm a little taken aback at somet of our responses.....Maybe I am missing something.

Willymakit shot an outstanding round. He played that round online in a tournament created round. The score has been verified. To me, that is enough.

Willymakit is a real life +2 and shot a 64. I'm a real life 10 and shot a 75. Last tournament I shot an under par round. So, we are all shooting better, by several shots, on Optishot (perfect lies in every shot, different pressures, etc.).

Golf is a game of honor and trust. Our rules state the same. There are no prizes (yet) associated with our tournaments. The only thing to be gained is pride.

Any of us could be "tweaking" our settings to achieve distances and accuracy. I think we need to trust and move forward.

Once again, maybe I am missing something. For me, case closed!!!

I can verify the score card. It is an incredible round and as I said in my first post regarding this, he should be proud.
I hear ya. But this is opti. And in opti we ( atleast some of us) smash it like no tomorrow all the time with no money on the line. Pretty much all players who are close to scratch CAN smash the ball 300yd+++. Do they do so on the course in a comp situation. Probably not. Hitting the fairway and winning pga tour events while doing so is a completely different ball game and not really comparable imho. At sawgrass I only use the driver once. If you watch the vid from yesterday you will notice that even that was not very smart.... LOL.

Thanks guys on backing me up. I appreciate that very much. Your right case closed.
Well almost closed. Lol. Buckeye. I had one drive at 350 and the rest were around 300. So not sure why you keep saying 100 yards further. So I guess I will figure out what it takes to hit it at 270 yards to be fair with everybody else

And catman. Not sure why your giving me an ultimatum here. I didn't even know what you were talking about until I scrolled back 2 pages to figure it out. Like I said I hopefully will be on around 7 mst. I have no idea what Google hangout is or how that would prove my innocents I tried using twitch but all I get is a black screen and a circle running in the middle of it.

Now the case is closed. I'm done defending myself here.

Not sure if I could handle doing that again in tournament play For one the nerves were out of control like in real life and two the putter was hot and didn't take any extra penalty strokes for in the water.

Haven't you guys ever have a good game in real life and it always came down to the flat stick. ??
Yes I agree with you Jason, sometimes you just get in a groove, hope you have many more..
