This is just my opinion but... if we're all going to be hitting 300 + drives, I don't think we should play anything but the back tees from here out. I personally don't want to be hitting Driver/Sand Wedge in to every green. That's not going to help in the Spring when we head back out to the course. It may in fact be detrimental considering the short game is a little flawed on here. But if I'm alone in this thinking, then I'll shut up and happily play whatever tees I'm told to play. Haha

I agree Vega! If we are gonna hit it like pros well then we should be teeing off from the back! I'm putting my setting back on 100% now after the "General Info" discussions so I can stay more competitive.

Approach it from the other direction.....If we are going to play from the back tees, most guy aren't going to have an incentive to play their real world settings. They will get tired of hitting Driver, 3 wood into every par 4.

The simple solution is two flights. Flight A anything goes. Flight B follows strict rules that include mandatory streaming and adjustment of clubs to your real world swing.

I have little desire to continue to play here until we come up with a proper baseline. Until then I am more likely to use the OptiShot as a cheap alternative to hitting balls in the real world.

There's no money on the line and at the end of the day you make some new friends.

Catman is doing his best to make everybody happy but at the end of the day it's a game we love doing. And that's being on the course.

I concur Willymakit. I was going to say that I think we may have turned this mole hill into a mountain. We have had 5 tournaments and 5 different winners. So far, the longest hitters haven't been the winners. We still have to hit the ball on a good line and putt.
