Here is the link. Check the shot at 3:15, that is close to the line I hit during my round.

I'm not able to watch Twitch recordings on my phone since iPhones don't support flash. I'll check it out later when I get off work. Maybe Cat or some of the other guys can look in the mean time.

          Sounds good.

I'm not looking for strokes. More or less just wanted to point it out to others so they don't go there. I was surprised by it.

Yikes, that seems a very harsh OB if it is correct.

Just finished round 2, Pretty much on par to where I thought Id be again, Couple of holes the back tees and wind in the face made things tricky but overall so many chances wasted on greens again. 4 putt on 6 and usual struggle with par 5s, (dont carry a 3 wood as like a lob wedge IRL) and with wind against and windy greens were always gonna be 6s at best.

I still struggle to believe how much wind plays a part in the putts. I know its just something you have to get used to but I've played in some very windy conditions and never had the wind affect putts the way this game does. Same for everyone I guess but wind on slopes can make such a huge difference.

Be happy if I can get 3 round in at around par overall though.. Good luck all in your 2nd rounds, loads of chances again, the 2 shorter par 4s both had wind behind so back tees made no difference, in fact I overshot the 1st one and again just short of the second

Looking forward to Round 3, see if I can get back to level for the tournament

Best of luck all in your upcoming rounds

Yeah, just have to learn to account for it and play less/more break when it's windy. A few of us have made Dancin' Dogg well aware of it and hopefully it will be corrected soon. They told me it would be an "easy fix", so we'll see.

Hey Buckeye, I watched your video and that must be a bug because even a cartpath is never OB ! You do not deserve an penalty but how do we fix this one ?

I agree with the wind putting fiasco 😦 moderate wind and higher needs to be avoided until DD fixes the problem. I though it was only on the fast greens but the wind really blows the ball around on medium grees as well 😱

I still haven't been able to watch, but it sounds pretty overwhelmingly off. I would say you play your 3rd shot from the re-tee as your first ball. Just essentially ignore the OB ball and play a mulligan. Then adjust your scorecard accordingly on the website. This would go for anyone that experienced this. This would obviously be on the honor system and whoever is doing so needs to state such in this thread. John may want to discuss this with the board which is fine too. Just don't think someone should be penalized due to a bug in the game.

Always thought stroke and distance is such a harsh punishment as playing 3 from tee so in effect a 2 stoke penalty, ie playing your fourth where would've been your second whereas hit it in the water and only costs ya one really, as would be play tee shot into the water, drop 2 so playing your 3rd as opposed to playing your 2nd if you had landed just short of water. Always thought it was a harsh rule of golf, especially when due to a lost ball in rough, as get punished more for hitting the rough than into a lake Need to get me a brave forecaddy as always costs me a few shots in wintertime, especially with all the leaves on the ground and my erratic drives

Right, even the second shot that hit the cart path should have been in, but the last shot is ridiculous.

The tournament is half way over, so I don't know a fair way to fix it or how to deal with it in the future. I guess leaving it as be is fine, since we are all playing the same course, there is no real advantage. Like I said previously, I'm not looking for my strokes back, and it would be difficult to police. I was more or less asking if anyone else had experienced the same issue and to give a heads up to the ones who haven't. I'm happy it happened on 18, instead of another hole, could have been a real momentum killer though.
