I just would rather have facts in order ahead of time rather than have pissing matches about how someone won because of the extra distance. Good info, might be worth adding to the guidelines as a reference tool.

Per a suggestion in the comment section of my last article called “How Far Should You Hit Your Golf Clubs?“, the purpose of this post is to summarize all of the carry distance versus swing speed data that was being discussed in to a summarized reference chart. Several things to note about the data in […]

guys, here is another chart for distance. I will try to to tweak my irons to match these distances when I get a chance.

      Cheers

Maxxx....Good information. Why would you tweak your settings to match the distances in this chart? Tweak your settings to match your real world distances! The chart show averages. Yours may be different. Yiur shafts may be longer/shorter. Your lifts may be weaker/stronger. Yiur dynamic lift may be weaker/stronger. Your spin may be higher/lower. Tweak to real world!

Hey Brad, When I say tweak, I mean fine tune clubs whithin 5 yards. I think I'm a little too long on some of my clubs .

          Cheers

            Good Point Brad,

I think this is a good chart for recreational golfers that don't have their distances down, Golfers that golf 2-4 times a week have their distances down pretty well and should tweak it to their Game,].. We don't want a cookie cutter to use in our league, for our golf swings..

This is what another Sim try to do, only at their own demise... I don't need to mention their name but their tournaments and online play is non existent......

I would have to say that the chart is pretty close though

Last night I played a practise round and I must say it was the worst practise round I have ever played. It wasn't because I was playing bad. But the readings I was getting. For example. With the driver. Getting around the 88mph compared to ususlly around 110mh. With irons I find my irons are way off with club angle. Sometimes up to 10 degrees closed or open. And I know there is no way it's that far out. I never changed my settings and have a lamp right over the sensors. So there shouldn't be any lighting issue.

After reading the other forum where they have mulligans for that type of thing happening. I know that it might be hard to control people from cheating if mulligans were used in the situation but I think
                something should be looked at.

                What are your guys thought?

Sounds like something interfering with your unit, clip grass, make sure your grass top is not creeping up, clean sensor lamps using alcohol Pad.. Mulligans is something we won't entertain because its to easy to say hmm that was a misread lol... I have misreads at least twice a round but I'm ok with it because I know we all have them.. and its better than the alternative..

Would of been nice if you saved that round for tonight lol.....

Haha. I made it to 14 and shut it down since I was at the 3 hour mark. I had mis reads on every shot.

I guess if you want to beat me that way then that's fine. I know I wouldn't want to win that way. Lol.

The last match I played I only had 1 misread and that was on a drive.

Unplug the usb and leave it out for a while. That is, if you haven't already tried that. I've had issues before where it wouldn't read at all and that fixed the issue.

I had 4 swings that were no read at all. But just before that I was adjusting the lamp I have over the sensors. I just find it weird that it would all of a sudden do that

Hopefully I can get home and figure some things out before our big match. Lol.

sounds like a lighting issue. Ensure your not getting shadows and using overhead lighting. Google search it and you'll find a ton of info. Also taping your woods/hybrids makes a huge difference.

After you feel the lighting is where it needs to be, calibrate every single club to include the putter.
