Challenge league for optishot

All depends on how regular our tour events are going to be i guess. If were gonna be sticking to weekly tournaments, each with 2/3 rounds then thats' plenty of matches really for me as now back in full swing at work 2/3 nights a week is all I could manage.

However would be good to have some kind of event/ongoing tournament though that say lasts 1 or 2 weeks, where you could perhaps enter as many times as you want, lowest score wins.

For example this week could've been "West Maui Shootout", and so everytime you played it could then submit a card (if lower than your current best) and the person who shot the lowest over the week wins

Not sure how it would be possible though from a website admin point of view. Im guessign would just be like a single round tournament where you can just keep going in and re entering your scorecard every time you did a better round, posting your video/screenshot of your optishot scorecard on a thread to verify.

Do like the idea of having something other than the main tour events to play for, challenge league would be good but still limited by the fact gotta play someone else, which is not always ideal if you just want to be able to play, but want it to have some sort of challenge applied.

As I say may well be impossible to administer on website, and also verification issues as not centrally invited so would have to provide video/screen shot of your card on Optishot in order to verify score.

If web couldnt do it, then perhaps just screenshots of cards would do and oculd just be a thread on here called "West Maui Shootout" and people just post score and Screen shot of their final cards.

Conditions could be set in the opening post so everyone plays the same conditions, and could still play together if 2 available and just both post your cards. I guess ideally also would need to be played using handicaps to give everyone a chance so again would be good if website could run it as handicaps would be up to date on there and so could then keep a leaderboard of winners.

If thread only would have to all play off scratch I guess which would obviously give advantage to lower handicappers

I dunno, just a thought, to have something to make practice rounds a bit more competitive and purposeful would be good.

The challenge league runs non stop and the more points you win the higher your rank. What alot of us are doing is when we do our weekly match we do a challenge for the same course and knock out 2 for one. Of course that means you need to play with whoever you challenged. Also gives you ability to play whatever course you want for the challenge the challenging golfer can pick the venue. Just wanted to give guys who want more rounds in a chance to play and compete.

If I had more time to play I would be all in !! But right now just playing the tournaments fills my dan e card 😂

I guess that was the thinking behind my shoutout idea, as many not got the time to plan these sort of things so just get rounds in when they get the chance, so at least gives them a bit of a competitive reason to sneak a quick round in in their spare hour

You have a week to complete any challenge presented to you by an opponent. At least that's what I gather from what the ProTee guys are doing. I think it'd be fun, but just think it would still be tough to do already playing 3 rounds per tournament. Especially if you're getting 2 or 3 challenges per week. If it was 1 challenge a week or something like that, I'd be interested. Of course, this is contingent on Hogan and those guys setting it up for us on the website to begin with. They already have provided us with quite a bit as is. I guess I could go either way on this one.

I think this would be fun for sure! As the OptiShot tour grows with more people, I think this might be something fun to add in. I think it would be cool to do skins matches too!
