CCE Turf for Opti-Shot

I noticed that Real Feel Golf Mats is running a sale on hitting strips if you need one for your optishot system. You can actually cut a 10x24 hitting strip down and get two optishot tops out of it. I've been using The Country Club Elite mat myself and think it's the best mat out there. Have you retrofitted a CCE turf for optishot? Can you share what you've done? I have a CCE hitting strip, but not sure how you would use it for optishot? Just cut out the openings and set it on top or maybe attach with velco or something?

I would suggest using the jagman joe/slickthings cover since the cover goes around the optishot and actually makes the entire surface flat vs the original cover that comes with it. I would say they are very similar turfs, both accept real tees and pretty much feel the same to me.
