New guy starting out with build and lots of questions

Hi, I have decided to take the dive and build a sim in my garage. The frame size I will be working with are ceiling; 9 feet , width; 7.6 feet, length; 6 feet. The hitting distance from wall to tee is 8 feet. I need a projector to fit this scale. Can be mounted on ceiling. Have a chance to buy a Mitsubishi XD221U for $80 but am not sure if I could get a full screen picture.Does anyone know if this projector will work or what I should be looking for? by no means am I projector expert but you will need a short throw projector for sure. I am thinking at that price point that projector is NOT one.

This is probably the way I will go at first. I have an extra flat screen hanging around that I am not using so your idea seem like the best start. Thanks for the idea. How far away from the hitting screen are you putting the ball? Are you using real golf balls? Thanks again

About 10 feet and yes real balls and nearly golf balls
