I have a GSA system with a sensor mat similar to ProTee's. I have had it since early December and have taken thousands of shots on it. I have had two misreads that are really weird and I am wondering if this ever has happened to you guys. Both shots were with the driver and both shots were slight fades. The game however read it as a big hook. The first time this happened, I was puzzled but played on.... a month later, it happened again. This time I stopped the game and looked at the data collected by my system. It sure looked like fade data to me. My control panel allows you to launch the previous shot, so I did....and it faded nicely. The shot data collected on that shot was fade data but the shot was a big hook. If this happened during a tournament round, the shot data would point towards a valid shot, so a rewind would look like a mulligan. Has this ever happened to any of you ProTee users?
Also, I may have a tip to help with the odd protee misread. The FB mat sometimes will have fibres fold over and trip the sensors before the club does. This will cause a good shot to look like a poor shot. I trimmed my mat with a pair of scissors. Trim just a bit on the side where the club would enter. So that when the fibers bend over, they don't cover any sensors. Since I have trimmed my mat, rewinds were only needed when I didn't notice a ball laying in the FOV and once or twice when my CP didn't change to the putter. I have since been hitting P when changing to putter and that has solved that issue of using Z and X to move clubs up and down.....if I hit them too quickly sometimes it would be one club off and that will mess up a putt.
