  • Protee Misread if I don't pick the ball clean...anyone else?

Wondering if anyone else has this same issue. Note - I do use a different mat covering the sensor board than what came with the system - one more liken to the artificial turf you'd find at a driving range. If I don't pick the ball almost perfectly, I get the huge loop and can see a pitching wedge end up 300 yards away. I would expect a misread if I were really slamming the club down into the sensor board or something but it consistently happens on solid swings where I'm just barely getting into it.

I am assuming I need to go back to the turf that came with the system but really like the feel of the turf I've switched it out for.

Thoughts from the experts? Is the margin for error with regards to impacting the sensor board really that small?

Not really sure I am understanding, but to really diagnose what is happening, we would need to see the camera shots. Usually a "loop" shot has more to do with the cameras picky up the club head or something like that. I have never heard of a problem because of how "clean" you hit the shot.... maybe I'm not understanding, but I would love to see the corresponding vcamera photo of what you are talking about.

I agree with gene here. High loopers are usually caused by a bad vcam read. I Will also get some crazy looking shots if I get a bad ball speed reading as well. Post some screen shots for us if your vcam reads and shot data.

Can you send some images of your mat and vcam when this happens and maybe we can help.
sometimes when using these tyes of mats, when you hit heavy the grass can cause interferance with sensor mat especially if it is not absolutely secure.
Often the ballooning flight coming back at you can also mean debris in the balltrack sensor row.
As this happens more when you hit heavy I would guess it is the grass top.
we initially had this issue when working with other grass tops and narrowing the slots for the sensors.
