  • Buying Used Pro Tee

I’m about to buy ProTee from someone and they are selling just the base unit and the camera. Any idea in what my costs will be after this? Is there a difference between ProTee and ProTee 2.0? I was leaning to getting skytrak but I’ll save money with this deal not to mention I won’t have to wait.

I currently have Optishot setup in my garage with platforms, projector screen and projector and have Trugolf mini home swing studio.

I am no expert to be sure. Having said that, as I recall the first Protee mat looked much different then the 2.0 version. In the new version there is a sensor row in front of the hitting area where as the old one did not have this, at least on the mat itself. It seems to me the old version did not have the best of reviews while the new one works very well.
I might suggest doing a search in Ottawa golf forums. They have info going back over a decade and may provide much more info.

If the protee mat doesn't look like this don't get it. If it does you will thank yourself 10xs over over the skytrak. Just make sure you have patience when you get to calibrating it. It's worth more than what they sell for new and/or refurbished.

If it has no software, then that will need to be added. VIP support is only applicable to original owner so a support package maybe required or you can pay hourly for support and set up. If you want to pm me, I will guide you through a build and any info and costing info you need or email me jamie@proteeuk.co.uk
