  • Range session stat keeping and Game improvement tips.

Is there any way to keep stats on individual clubs? I would like to have a range session where I go through the full set and record distances, launch angles club head speed etc. and then go into the settings and adjust the drag, set the launch angles for each club more closely, (since I use the vcam, would it matter?) Something like the flightscope report.

I think I am closer than I started but I would like to hit a few and then make changes all at once.

Also, I saw a thread somewhere that was titled something like "How to use a simulator for Game improvement" . I googled it and I must be missing something. How do all of you work on your game besides just playing rounds? I am looking to lower my handicap next year. We are pretty much done golfing outside up here in Northern Idaho.

    Thank you,
    Kent

TGC will soon be releasing exactly what you are looking for. Ball speed, Launch angle, side spin, back spin, spin axis, club speed, club face angle, ball direction, swing path. This will be stored in the cloud. You will have to make club selection in the game for this to be accurate. It is currently being beta tested right now.

Great news! Do you know if these stats will be available in real time? I was initially leaning towards hooking into the API and populating a DB or simple spreadsheet. Whether I venture there will of course depend upon the experience...so I suppose time will tell...
