They had this at one point at the csc site but it's no longer there. How about just opening a new thread in the suggestion section for each request? The either myself or bubba22 will reply to it on it's status. Btw, I edited out GSA and put ProteePlay in its place.Originally posted by "mmlincon" post=127Maybe we should create a suggestion thread for ProTee software. Either interface or ProteePlay. If it exists already I missed it.
For ProteePlay I'd like to see the grid turn on automatically when on green and off when not.
For ProteePlay I'd like the distance to read in feet and not yards when putting. I don't think most people think "I've got a 12 yard putt".
Might be a good idea to list the outstanding requests so people know they've been submitted. Scramble comes to mind. Oh, how about a vote button for suggestions so ProTee can get an idea on how important these are for folks?

The PT5 vcam method for me did not work well for wedges (couldn't pick up chips regardless of how I angled the camera) or irons (picked up the club too often, sending a banana balloon to the moon with a 5 iron). So I switched the vcam reading back to PT1 for irons and wedges, but left the PT5 for driver (which picked up a much longer, thus easier to detect, ball streak); you might want to try that to see if it makes a differenceOriginally posted by "bubs" post=137I played 18 at Augusta with my Brother in law whom has never played on this system before. He always plays on a Full Swing system. He like it but he did have a lot of miss reads. I was wondering what was going on with him as I rarely have any mis reads. He was having a heck of a time getting it to register his chips or bunker shots. It would say no audio, or slow club head speed. I think the problem was he stands close to the ball so his shadow must have been over the sensor. Same for putting.

I agree, he was used to playing on the Full Swing where there is no floor sensorsGC2 Eastern Time Zone, USA

Bubba22 and I played Sonoma Shores today and did not see any issue with the mini map. Not sure why it was a problem the first time we played it. Any way, this is another very nice course. Some nice elevation changes too. Would be a great course for our tournaments.

I just noticed that when changing the drag and ball speed settings using the interface, it doesn't seem to show up in the settings file. So I change the drag on a club to 95 but the setting file still shows 100. But it seems to be reading at the changed setting. When I reboot, the interface still shows 95 and the settings file (accessed using alt-e to make sure it's the correct one) still shows 100. I keep thinking that I must be opening the wrong settings file but I don't think so (time stamps, other changes going through). Anyone else seen this?

Yes I have noticed the same thing. I will change the forgiveness when I have buddies out that are drinking so the game don't take all night and it will stay on the slider but will be at 0 in the settings file. But what I have also noticed is sometimes if I forget to change it back to 0 in the interface sliders it still seems as though I am playing at 0. I am able to work the ball right or left with ease. with it set to 20 which is what I normally play at with the drinkers it is near impossible to work the ball. I am going to try your PT1 trick tonight. I have had a lot of 5 6 7 irons that balloon also. And the wedges although they work most of the time really irritate me when they don't. nothing worse than playing online hitting a great bunker shot and it sailing a whooping 3ft. But that is rare. But when I am playing with pro's like bubba and Z you can't open any doors or they slip right in.Originally posted by "Mike Libbing" post=303I just noticed that when changing the drag and ball speed settings using the interface, it doesn't seem to show up in the settings file. I have this issue all the time with my 3 hybrid, and my irons. It is frustrating as I have tweaked the cameras all the time and still get the occasional error. How do you set individual clubs up with different pt-1 or pt-5 settings??Last edited by Maverick; 10-14-2014, 01:33 PM.GC2 Eastern Time Zone, USA
