Is it possible to add a column on the leaderboard that shows which launch monitor each player is using? Curious to see if any patterns emerge..

It would only work if the user has the LM listed in their profile like you do. You can see which ones do but it's hard

Easily the most fun I've had on a course on TGC... could not miss. Oh, and FIRST ACE ever in sim golf (never have had one IRL) on #12! Shot 88 in my record, was actually a 9iron... Buying virtual drinks for ya'll right now. Can I play next weeks event tonight?

Congrats on the ace. Those scores are going to be tough to beat. .... Did you record the round? With shot recording.... you probably want to make sure you change the club selection to what you are actually hitting.. It may help later if you need to work on a certain club or shot.

Well a much better week for me. Disappointed with the first-round 80. Had things working pretty well in round 2, but got on a bogey streak that I had a hard time breaking. I think I had a misread on a chip that had 100 backspin and just shot across the green. I don't recall that ever happening before to me. That led to a bogey. Others were just real brain fart type of moments. Ended up four over and just about holed out my last shot on 18 from 153 yards out in the rough. Burned the right edge of the cup. Settled for the gimme birdie. I think I had three or four birds on this round, which is HUGE for me, because now I can get my confidence back that a few mistakes are okay, because I can make up some strokes here and there. That hasn't been the case for about 2.5 weeks.

We had a local 2-man scramble on TPC Scottsdale here this week on JNPG and then we have a Play With the Pros exhibition this week on that course over on JNPG, so it was interesting to play that version and then play the TGC version of the same course.

Also wanted to point out something else that has REALLY been bugging me and wanted to see if anyone else had this issue. My 3 hybrid is one of my favorite clubs and it's a 200-225ish club depending on varying circumstances. However, the issue is that unless you land it well off of the green and let it trickle onto a green there is no stopping this club on a green, which is frustrating as all get out. I bogied No. 1 both rounds because I was 200-plus out each round and landed my hybrid on the front side of the green only to see it roll all the way across the green and off the back side. This is a 19-degree club and I hit my shots REALLY high so it should roll out some obviously, but should not roll across all greens. Anyone else have this? Happens on 3 woods as well, but that is a little more in line with IRL action IMO.

In my opinion, the ball reaction on the greens is not realistic most of the time outside of full shots with pw - 7 iron. Long irons and woods roll out exceptionally, short irons spin and back up too much, and chips/pitches is a toss up whether or not it's gonna grab hard or roll out for far too long. My biggest issue is this. I hit a pitch of 30 yards from the deep rough with a 56 degree and most of the time it will grab extremely hard (will back up with a 60). Then, I'll have a 20 yard chip from the tight fringe and it'll roll out 20 feet with 1200-1500 spin. It may be important to note that I use a SkyTrak.

I'm being picky here though because I really love the game play. I figure they probably average out in the end and if I actually hit a green or three then I'd have no complaints.

Gary I could not agree more. I'm SkyTrak as well!

All the time with the same club and 4 irons as well. I think it's one of the quirks of the sim algorithm, trying to estimate how much a lower spinning shot will roll out for longer clubs. It is frustrating because IRL, the ball just doesn't roll out that far on the majority of greens.

But I only notice this in TGC. In JNPG it will stop closer to what it looks like IRL. Are the algorithms game specific or device specific?

Software specific. With all parameters equal, you will see variations in flight/roll between ST, TGC, JNPG, E6.

Is the leaderboard not posting on the tour website for everyone else? Have been trying to check if my shot recording was working.

Just curious, How can you check on the record???. I would love to be able to review shots done previously.

Everyone can look at your shot data. You can save a replay of great shots. what is cool about that is.... it allows you to watch pretty much the whole round. Change loop shot to play to the end. and then change your hole to #2..... for some reason when you go to hole one.... it locks up after that hole.

It's nice to have a replay of the popular tour events... you can give yourself a refresher in about 15 min by watching the complete round via replay. I have 11 pages of replays saved.

If you have an Nvidia video card, you can record the complete round and even add a webcam like KSman's videos.

Well that wasn't fun, I could hardly get the ball of the tee and it got very frustrating. Need to work on my swing before I attempt round two.

Well i have to say that i have been so frustrated with my sim scores and ball speed data with my setup and today i changed my matt from a very good quality range matt that holds a tee very similar to the country club elite that i got from huxley golf in the uk. What i was finding was thst if i slightly and i mean slightly hit the mat first it was killing my ball speed and turning the club over a lot. I was thinking that the sim was doing more harm than good and today i received my true strike mat. I need to get another section so that i can hit driver amd 3 wood which im ordering tomorrow so today i could only use my 3 hybrid. What i found with this true strike is that it is so realaistic. Better spin numbers and carry distances like i would expect on a real course. The ball was spinning, checking doing what it should do with this mat and dont get me wrong it still punishes you for bad shots but not how the hard fibre mat was. Expensive mat but the whole setup seems complete and a lot. Ore realistic. Putting is better as is smoother of the club face and mymirons are going how they should be. I know this course is shorter and i found more fairways but distance isnt an issue for me. Truestrike is the way to go in my opionion if you want a realistic sim experience. Hopefully my scores become more realistic now as they really havent been using my previous mat. I have had a couple of great rounds with the huxley mat but i think they are more for heavy range usuag pe rather than a sim setup. Just thought i would share my findings for anyone havent similar issues with distance the mat makes a massive difference

I have the Truestrike too. You can set it up so the gel section is far right, ball tray is behind you. Skytrak is on the floor, raised with feet to same height as mat. You shouldn't need an extra stance section that way, unless you're like 6' 6" or something?

Thanks for the tip on watching the whole round. It makes me want to favorite my drive on hole 2 of tournament courses. I thought that you could only watch the shot on the replay.
I have recorded several rounds with the webcam and they are fun for me to see but it takes 5 hours to upload to youtube. I guess I could just keep them on my computer unless they warrant publishing.

With respect to the comment about the hole in one being a baby fade. Were you just reading the shot spin stats or is there a way for others to see a replay visually?
