Sometimes you can look at other's replays.....it doesn't work all of the time. You have to do it from the tournament leaderboard in the game before you exit .... try it. Somebody else commented about the baby fade..... which I am becoming a big fan of the baby fade....

I had a couple rewinds on the ol' 1000/0/0 Skytrak screw up - is this only a Skytrak weird thing that happens? or is it GC2 and everybody else's problem too? If it wasn't so easy to tell when a 1000/0/0 shot happens, I would have gladly taken those results, as they were actually pretty good and better than my re-played shot!

Also had this happen - hit my drive, then accidentally bumped the 'unplayable' button on the iPad app and just when I thought it was going to make me take a stroke for a drop, I tried hitting 'rewind' in the menu just to see what it would do and it let me go back to my 2nd shot's view and hit. It still had the white 'drop cirlce' around my ball, but it let me play through it just fine... just thought this might help others who accidentally hit 'unplayable' in the menu or on the iPad app.

Thanks for the tip on watching the whole round. It makes me want to favorite my drive on hole 2 of tournament courses. I thought that you could only watch the shot on the replay.
I have recorded several rounds with the webcam and they are fun for me to see but it takes 5 hours to upload to youtube. I guess I could just keep them on my computer unless they warrant publishing.

With respect to the comment about the hole in one being a baby fade. Were you just reading the shot spin stats or is there a way for others to see a replay visually?

No i didnt see any replay, i was just going off the spin stats to figure it was a baby fade

Its just a skytrak issue with that 1000 spin thing

Just finished up my second round. Can't wait to see how deep some of the real golfers on this tour go because this course is very gettable. Didn't hit a put in either round. I did want to put out here that I did have one rewind. On the second round, 10th tee....my little guy hangs out and is in charge of the remote on the laptop and when he scrolled between the overview and back it flipped me around as I was teeing off and my tee shot on 10 went 270 yards in the opposite direction into a river off the teeing ground.

Just shot a 76/77 tonight. My best rounds in a tournament. Happy with the round made some putts finally and did better after ditching the driver. Have some work on my huge slice irons not sure where that came from. Friended a bunch of guys and looking forward to my first rounds live with others. Big leaning curve getting everything setup but loving the it

Offline play. It says we can play this tournament offline? I am currently waiting for my house build to be done so i am taking my skytrak and gaming laptop to the local indoor hitting facility. The wifi there is pretty slow. It makes it kind of painful. would it be better for me play offline? If so, do i just click "go offline" and then go into the tournaments? (Sorry, this will be my first tournament) I am super stoked to be joining the tour.

Ugh I think I need some time off, I feel like I'm getting worse instead of better. Finally start hitting a good number of fairways with the driver and now my irons side spin is out of control on every shot and I have no clue what to do so I tinker and tinker and feel worse every shot I take...

I finished round 1 while playing live with aeroburner. That is a great way to play a tournament. You can rest a bit between shots, focus yourself, watch the other player's shot for green speeds, etc.. Even with a water ball on 15, I finished with a good round for me.

I am on a bit of a roll. Things that have helped me. Keep the drive in the fairway. Learn what 25 yards is in the sim world. Take enough club, forget the pride. I am going to try to post my eagle on 17. 40 foot putt. Do not want to sound like I am gloating but this tour is so much better than just playing a course for the heck of it, now I will have to hang with a lower handicap but believe me, I am no sandbagger just learning sim golf and enjoying f the improvement this has made in my game.

seriously this course has mega lag issues and is very jittery on the shots and putts its a nice course but its very hard on the eyes

In tgc it should read that high spin as well if you turn the chip correction ON/OFF (can't remember which one) but once you switch that, the spin numbers will be better but it won't read chips with like 2-4 yards of carry. Very frustrating when you have a short 7 yard chip just off the green.

If you try to hit a chip that short on the skytrak range it won't read most/all of the time because there is no 'putting mode' in the app.

If you leave the chip correction how you have it I'm guessing it is reading all the chips for you at any distance but the spin numbers don't get high enough unless you are hitting over 20 yards (where the putting mode is initiated automatically I believe).

So basically you have to decide on having all of your chips read at any distance but the spin will likely stay under 2000 no matter what you try to do from within 20 yards......or have more accurate spin readings under 20 yards, but likely have a very tough time getting chips to read with carries of like 2-4 yards.

Had my best round ever with Skytrak and TGC. Shot 68 for the first round! Until this point I had never been under par. Riding high at the moment. Will see if I give it all back tonight.
