I enjoyed this course. It's well designed. Fairways are pretty wide and greens had just the right amount of movement. Even though it's long there isn't water hazards that you have to clear... those are the one that are really punishing for shorter hitters. Playing these courses really make me appreciate how good the tour players are and that I will never be able to quit my day job.

Looks like tough scoring so far. I'm playing my rounds this weekend. Giving myself a break, kind of.....since I'll be playing Thursday.

This course is going to be super long for me, but I know there is give and take so I'll go out there, try and make some confident swings and keep the ball straight. My only concern is distance from Tee to fairway. I feel like less of a man when I don't reach the fairway.

I'm afraid mt's right rsuslow, while you'll get into the fairway at that distance (checked tonight) you'll have that and more into most greens. It's a beast for sure. Maybe a chance for a guy to work on his zack johnson (I lay up every time) approach wedges? The greens are very fair (grasping at straws).

Well, today playing IRL boosted my confidence. Shot my lifetime low of 84. I'll give this course a go this weekend.

well that was a fun course -- had my best sim round ever of 80 and I doubled the last hole -- 70's were in my grasp argggg
I will say although it was long - almost every hole was considerably downhill so it didn't play as long as it was on the scorecard

Its a long course, but looks and plays great. Going in my favorites list even though I shot 88 in my first round.

I found it to be a tough course, as I am not a long ball hitter. I hit a LOT of 3 woods and 5 woods for my second shots. Not complaining, as I really need the practice with those clubs. Fairways were wide enough to where I wasn't always hitting out of the rough, but I did find water about 3 times on errant shots! Surprisingly, I shot a 90 which is pretty good for me!

Shot well today for me. Driver was pretty long and in play most of the day. Hit tons of hybrids into greens though and had a bunch of up n downs. However, Again, I had issues while chipping. I think it was 2 times the ball fell through the course. It shows my next shot from underneath the green. Never had this problem until the last 2 courses. Another time I had the ball just zing off the green like I had 10000rpm of top spin. Lol. None were really bad or anything so atleast my score wasn't affected. Just frustrating to hafta keep showing rewinds.

I hit a lot of 5 irons but oh my, this is such a good track. I go every year and was there when tiger hit 3 wood 9 iron on 17 and 3 iron 8 iron on 18 to win...WTF!?

Thank you! The first round was better, actually. As someone stated earlier...all about short game and my short game is on right now. The second round wedge play was really good!

I think I just set a record. A dubious one, but a record nonetheless. I think I counted 30, yes 30 shanks in round 2 of this tournament. I could not hit a wedge or iron to save my life. I had the hooks as well. My club path was great 3-5 degrees in to out but I kept closing the clubface. I have skipped a few tournament rounds trying to nurse a sore wrist. Now it does not hurt but I may be bracing it from impact by closing the clubface. Hopefully I can work it out as this round was just awwwwwful. The first round was not good. It started out bad, got good then went downhill and the bad carried over into round 2 right after.

I thought the length was going to be a struggle for me. But it really didn't get me too much. I just played the 4's as 5's in some cases. Just hit a comfortable club up close and tried to chip close. Overall I'm happy with my play. It's always 1 or 2 holes that kill me and I can't seem to get back on track, or if I do get on track, it's with very few holes left to play.

I really liked the course, it was fun to play. There was one fairway I thought was a little unfair. No matter how far right I hit it, it rolled all the way left and backwards. Other than that, I really enjoyed the course.
