Concede Hole Issue Again!!!

ProTee United , please delete my first round (3 holes) of the tournament. I had to reboot my computer and I accidentally hit concede hole instead of exit on the 3rd hole of a 54 hole tournament. Let me tell you how frustrated this makes me. This is a basic change that should have been made a long time ago. I know many people have encountered the same problem and frustration, and it still is an issue.

how can you be upset with protee about this? it isn't that hard to just NOT hit concede hole? getting frustrated at someone else over your OWN mistake is what frustrates me. You KNOW it is a problem yet YOU were the one that hit "concede hole". Be more careful is what I say.....and no I could care less what the scores are but I'm annoyed with how you have placed all the blame on Protee when YOU made the click!

Andy, note taken, however, take a look and see how many times this issue has come up in this forum, and nothing seems to have been done about it.

I agree with BWJones, this concede hole situation has come up multiple times and I've done it myself. Not sure why it hasn't been addressed. Seems like an easy thing to fix but ProTee has ignored our pleas

The "well just dont accidentally mis-click" mindset is nonsense.

Its a common user interface convention to have a confirmation step when doing something destructive. Deleting a file, conceding a hole in a game etc. The concede hole button is right above Exit Round. Its easy to mis-click. Exit round has a confirmation, concede hole does not. Its a poorly designed UI. I believe protee added concede hole, so they should be able to fix this (I dont think it exists in the non-sim version of the game).

As good as Protee is with support, its clear that they lack some talent in the User Interface department. A great example is the Skytrak TCG interface app. A borderless window that cannot be moved....You have to go out of your way to make an app that user-unfriendly!

I agree. I use a wireless mouse in my garage and I use my leg as a mouse pad. There have been a few times where I click and it moves to concede hole and I get a huge score

What's the concede hole do in stroke play btw? Give a 12 or something? Is it used that much?

concede hole was created as a way to get to a certain hole. For example, you concede until 12 at Augusta and play it. It's a work around. It simply gives you the max score allowed in TGC. 11 or 12. Not sure.
