Welcome to the tour drewpac. Did you already updated everything? When in the fescue, use whatever club you want. The fescue is usually in heavy rough so it will be a two club (13%) penalty.

thx. If you're asking if I have updated tgc and the interface (set to ur recommended settings including bunker slider)...yes...once I get more comfortable with everything ill get online (don't want to be too slow).and man putting is tricky! ! ! Any advice on that?

Best advice is to start playing now. You'll get the hang of it. It's still very tough to make a putt though. IMO, that's how it should be since we're using 6 ft gimmes.

I agree with Zmax on the toughness of making putts being somewhat offset with six foot gimmies. I've been tracking my total putts on TGC vs real life and they're within about 1 stroke of each other.

I don't think this thread is used anymore... We don't have any cheaters anymore. We are all honest trustworthy people.
But thanks for agreeing. Now you will just enter the tour through the TGC software. I am sure there will be a thread on how to enter soon. So Stay tuned to the forum for further updates.

I have read and agree to the rules. 2 yard gimmie makes sense as 1 foot putts are difficult to tap in. I read somewhere that 2 yard gimmies are ok..... correct? I will have to play a couple of practice rounds first. I just got putting working today.....

You don't need twitch. In TGC click play, tournament, select public then click on tournament.
