Do folks really try to explain rewinds with "I hit it better than that", poor is that's the case!

I'm not suggesting really, just offering up discussion points. It's not a black and white world we live in.

Consessions are being made for hardware failures or short comings but not software short comings as you described above with the penalty system

Is it too hard to manage the software side of things?

True story or “i know what a good shot feels like”

Golf rules are very much black and white.

Rewinds are for hardware failure. That sums it up.

We have unplayable and concede hole. There’s unplayable in real golf. I used to play in JNPG and I hit it into a bush. After 6 swings and not moving, i turned it off and dropped out. I don’t know if there was conceed hole then.

Keep up the good work. Course wise I don't have any preferences. Shirt courses are thee for everyone to score on, longer ones less so. A balance is always good!

          crazy greens aren't fun

Will there ever be a time when “hardware failure” isn’t a valid excuse for a rewind? I mean I had hardware that would give me super low spin out of bunkers sometimes and rather than take a rewind and explain it everytime I just said “whatever guess I shouldn’t have hit it there”. I didn’t like it, so I changed hardware.

It just seems that if you remove that as an excuse you really start to simplify things and make a healthier tour at the same time. 2 cents.

Hardware failure is obvious. 200mph ball speed on a putt or zero spin on a chip. Go nuts. No need to explain. Hit rewind when the ball went 2 degrees right of target and we have a problem.

I hear ya brotha, but you guys need to “do work” to find these things. Right? That’s not very 2018 to me.

I’m just saying if I got the readings you describe very often, I’d go nuts and question my system.

Anyway, still don’t see what it hurts to give it a shot on a trial period.

I would really like som more statistics shown on the leaderbords. The ranking system today seems to only take into account how many tournaments we've entered. Made a quick excel table, attached, showing AVG. POINTS. I believe this shows a more accurate picture because everyone cant play all rounds. Would bo cool to be able to sort this kind of numbers.

Rather than average points, I would suggest average earnings. It doesn't seem fair that anyone who plays at least one round (even with shot recording turned off) gets 20 points which is the same as the guy in 15th place and only two less than the guys who finished T13. This week there were 117 players and 104 got 20 points. At least with earnings the decreases in money are spread out over the top 30 and then anyone below that gets $0. I like seeing the number of events and number of wins too.

I would suggest resetting the averages once a year, but would be fine with each season as defined on golfsimulatortours.com

second that! This is just a quick example but I agree that it is unfair to the lojal players.

Just curious, why do players get points for not completing a tournament?

You need one complete round to get onto the leaderboard and everyone on the leaderboard gets a minimum of 20 points.
