    TGC 2018 FALL TOUR - Hero World Challenge

    TOUR CHALLENGE
    2 rounds at Little Brook Manor

    HeroWorldChallenge

    RULES
    Gimme : within 2 yards / 1.8 meters
    Handicap : Not required
    Wind: OFF
    Green Grid : ON
    Club Suggestion is ENABLED.
    Boost: OFF (+/-5% max on club settings)

    Hero World Challenge runs from TODAY - December 2.

    Purse: $7,500,000

    HOW TO PLAY
    From the main menu select PLAY -> PLAY TOURNAMENT -> ALL TOURNAMENTS -> SET FILTER TO PUBLIC COMPETITIONS

    You can play by yourself, offline with friends or ghost players or online.

      I'm wondering how the simulator handicaps translate to the real world. I'm currently a 4.2 on the simulator after playing in a few tournaments. My real handicap is 12.5. What is your simulator/real world handicap?

        There is a good thread on this a few pages back (Estimated simulator handicap to real life conversion). Has some interesting thoughts and even a formula or 2 breaking it down.

      The better you are at reading the video game screen for putting, the lower the hdcp. You will already be better by a handful of shots just due to not hitting out of rough and bad stances and things like that.

        Sascha1818 how many rewinds for that score. There is to much on this course for you to be shooting that low. jk

        Did anyone go for it on that par 4 that was 230 carry. I think it was the 11th. I hit 6 iron 6 iron both rounds and made par twice.

        I played this course last night.
        There's so many good course in TGC, but why we are playing the tour on this trash is hard to understand.

          It's the silly season Bob. Not a lot of people play at your level and sometimes it is nice for them to have a course at this level. This course by the way is an officially made TGC course.

        Outdoor hdcp 2018 low was 0.4
        Sim hdcp 1.9 but ive only had 5 rounds of q school and 2 tournaments so far. Im sure it will change.

        Thoroughly enjoyed this course. I don't remember the holes but I only remember not going for it on 1 hole. I hit 4 or 5 iron just short of a bunker that was short of water. There was another hole with water that I didn't lay up.

          Ok I found it hole 8 5 iron off the tee.
          Hole 11 driver both days but I didn't convert birdie either time. It left a very short approach shot though.

          For those of you who choked the 59 down the stretch, I know how you feel. I was greenside in 2 on #18 with the simplest 15 yards chip one could ask for (A little uphill). Completely choked the chip after pitching and chipping great all round. I thought for sure I was going to miss my put (It was a breaking 18 footer). But I managed to drain it for the 59 making it even more exiting than a routine up and down . Oh and that 15th hole got me both rounds lol

            Thanks, there will be other opportunities but this is probably the easiest course I've ever played since joining the tour.

          Wow , Top spot with 2 rounds of 76.
          Because the course is really short and there's not a lot of water , I could reach most par 4's in 2.
          sim HC is still high and slowly coming to my HC irl of 20.5.
          So that all helps a lot in getting this high on the leaderboard.

            What is the easiest way to stream? I've reventre upgraded to a GTX 1060, is the .Nvidia software handy for this?

              There are a couple of good free options for streaming. XSplit and OBS are the 2 that I have used. Currently I use OBS Studio. It has a lot of options and doesn't hog resources. You can stream to Twitch, YouTube and others.

                I use OBS with 3 cam and do live stream. I can check my swing later.

                  TGC-2-4 depending on how regularly I can play and get the irons dialed in.

                  Skytrak can give me odd iron distances. Hit a 9 iron 179 yards today hahaha
