    TGC 2018/2019 WINTER TOUR - WG Championship Mexico

    TOUR CHALLENGE
    2 rounds at Banff Springs (Pro Tee)
    WG_Championship_Mexico

    RULES
    Gimme : within 2 yards / 1.8 meters
    Handicap : Not required
    Wind: OFF
    Green Grid : ON
    Club Suggestion is ENABLED.
    Boost: OFF (+/-5% max on club settings)

    WG Championship Mexico runs from TODAY - Februari 24.

    Purse: $9,000,000

    HOW TO PLAY
    From the main menu select PLAY -> PLAY TOURNAMENT -> ALL TOURNAMENTS -> SET FILTER TO PUBLIC COMPETITIONS

    You can play by yourself, offline with friends or ghost players or online.

    I enjoyed the course as well but stayed at the beach all day. Thankfully the putter was hot. Lots of sand around the greens.

      Finished both rounds but I still don’t get loaded correctly into the leaderboard. Is there something I need to do that I’m missing? I appreciate any help you guys can give this rookie

        Really strange. It's a glitch somewhere. We will add your 2n round manually next week Tuesday when the tour has ended. In mean time we will see if we can find the issue.

        ProTee United thank you! It happened last week too with the Genesis Open. Look up my name, I had a 92 and 88, but only the first round score is on my profile. I'll try and see if maybe my round didn't finish, but it send me through the exit screen after I played. Asking me to rate the course and see the leaderboard and all that.

        ProTee United any news on what the glitch might be? I'm thinking I might have something wrong in my settings, but I don't know what it might be. I've definitely got something going right if the first round score will load, just not the second. Anyway, looks like the tournament is over. Since you mentioned you'd manually add in my 2nd round score, would you be able to do the same for the previous tournament as well (Genesis Open)?

      Is there any way to adjust the colors on this? The white mountain background was horrendous on my projector. I couldn't see the ball on half the holes. I have a decent projector too. Maybe I just don't have it calibrated right?

        You could try the Reshade program. I have it set up on mine and defaulted to on. Didn't toggle it on and off so can't say it that would fix your issue.
        If you type reshade in the search bar it should lead you to the right thread.

        Are there different settings on your projector you could play with.. thats what I usually do.

        Got the projector tuned better, and shot probably one of my best sim rounds. My contrast turned all the way up for some reason. It is a lot more fun when you can see what is happening!

      Hello guys, I'm new here and I didn't know about the ''tournament rules'' (shot recording). Is there a way that I can replay the tournament with the correct settings? Like erase my rounds and redo-it all over or I'll just have to wait for the next tourney?

        Im guessing you will have to wait but im not for sure. Mthunt will let you know. Anyhow that was a couple really nice scores. Good shooting.

            This is one of the most beautiful courses I’ve played IRL. The sim is a good replica although I felt the greens were tougher in reality. Posting a few pics of it.

                From a fellow flat lander Michigander... you need to go to the Canadian Rockies and play Banff and/or Jasper. I got to be sidekick for a free trip for my brother hitting an ace in an outing a few years ago. Unbelievable.

                I’ve played there too. Unreal place. The designer did a good job.

                  I've also played there. The pictures don't do it justice. Playing surrounded by snow capped mountains was unbelievable. Each hole was designed to have a mountain in the background to make a post card quality view. This course hopefully will get recreated for TGC 2019 as I'm sure it would look even better. Whomever makes it should add some elk as well

                    ... the Jasper course on TGC is a pretty damn good recreation. Except they missed the bear fence that goes all the way around the course haha.

                  Banff Springs is nice. IMO Jasper is nicer. Both are Thompson courses. Here in Vancouver Capilano is by far the nicest. Also not too far from Banff is Kanaskis and they have two courses which are incredible.

                    Really enjoying being back on tour after a few month break for baby #2. I have a few friends that have recently started playing tour rounds. Is there a way to select which ghost you play against for tournament rounds? So far, I have only seen it be random. Thanks!

                      You can easily change your rivals. You can do it just before the round starts or you can do it on hole 1 tee box. On the tee box hit the esc button and then look for the rivals menu item. From there you can add and remove rivals.

                    Ugh, I was playing great for me, but had my skytrak randomly hit the ball 2 feet when I wasn't doing anything. Still had 200+ yards to the whole. Didn't rewind due to all the recent conversations on the subject, but it really got in my head. My bad, but I blew up on the next couple holes... Gotta work on my mental game! Still had a really good round for me, so guess I can't complain.

                      Randy needs to go out and finish the last 3 holes! Wow, Dustin Johnson better be glad you are playing on the simulator tour and not in the real WGC event. That's strong stuff, way to go!

                        Thanks...everything went right today. I feel like I could hit a lefty draw all day (except one fade hole). Really gave me confidence.
