From the main menu select PLAY -> PLAY TOURNAMENT -> ALL TOURNAMENTS -> SET FILTER TO PUBLIC COMPETITIONS

You can play by yourself, offline with friends or ghost players or online.

I see in the description this is for TGC1 and not TGC 2019? Is there still a decent size community on TGC 1? I am on R-Motion and am thinking about buying the full version to play online and in tournaments, but don't want to drop the money if no one is playing on TGC1 anymore.

In your opinion, should I just save up until I can get a SkyTrak (TGC 2019) or is it worth it to get the Full TGC1 version for R-Motion just to get the full course list?

I would suggest to look through the past completed tournaments and judge for yourself based on the number of people still playing.
