RULES AND GUIDELINES

Purpose
To offer an online league format that facilitates all that we enjoy about playing the Sport of Golf. To make Tournament settings on each round that compare to PGA standards.

Integrity
Golf is a sport of honesty, all players are expected not to treat this like a game but treat it as if you were actually participating in live Events. Please do not cheat or manipulate the Game to give yourself and advantage. We encourage play with other online players but one can play by themselves or with a ghost ball. Scores get automatically added via TGC API so no need to enter scores. Mulligans are allowed only if there is a miss read or hardware/game error. Multiple simulator platforms will be in play.

Currently you can only view current status of tournaments/your stats through the game itself.

A cloud API is being worked on that grabs the info from TGC and populates the website that will soon be released to show all your shot data, stats and tournament info. Similar to the function that the "other" forum has for PG.

But no, this is not currently available, but I do know that it exists and is being worked on.

For just scores, you can also view the current completed rounds for tournaments within their own thread under the Online Play forum header, I believe.

Guys, I mean absolutely no offence with this but...
... is there anyway of removing that dreadful US flag next to my username on the leaderboard?
Maybe replace it with the Saltire?

It is probably somewhere in the profile as I can see a few Canadian flags there but I just can't seem to find it.

ProTee United, will you switch the final event to the new version of Magnolia? It also would be great to switch the Northern Trust Open to Rivierra.

Also not sure if there will be a second half of the season but now it would be great to add in The Players at Sawgrass, Shell Houston at GC of Houston, Quicken Loans at Congressional, a second Waste Management at Scottsdale. Also in development are Oakmont, Montreux, Baltusrol, and Bethpage so perhaps there would be a few more tournaments (plus a couple of majors) that could be added.

Will do ks-man. What is the exact name of the new Magnolia and Riverra? We can do a second season after the Masters if there is interest. Perhaps start a thread asking who would be interested in a spring online golf session. As the good weather comes, the interest for online play falls usually after the a Masters. If there is good interest then we can set it up.

Here is some info for Rivierra. Not sure the exact name at the moment. I think it was posted after the course sync though.

Riviera Country Club by BoomBoom (Pro-Tee) Overcast but High Noon Medium Fairways Medium Greens 176 Green Speed 6100 Yards Par 71

There is also a white version at around 6500 yards that might already be on the server.

I'll try and take a look and see if there are any apple to apple swaps, like Augusta obviously. If there aren't any others, we can just leave it be, besides using the new Augusta design.

Many other new recreation courses (such as Bethpage, Baltusrol, The Belfry and more) are in development so I'll update this in a few weeks.

No ones designed a good Trump Doral yet I take it?

It sounds like Trump National Doral (Day 1-4) is well regarded but there is no short version. The shortest is about 7250 yds which is too long I think for one of our tournaments. In the PC version of the game it says the designer is ColinW but I don't know who that is to reach out to and ask for a shorter version. Anybody know?
