Is there anyway we can turn on handicap for the tournaments or does the course need to be a handicap rated course. I am just thinking we will need to do this or the fun factor will die out for us high handicap players.

You would need to develop a handicap first.

I did manage to get one. I had to play 5 courses that were handicap rated. They were not that tough either but that is the only way

For what it\s worth I'm a high handicapper with a half built simulator (e.g. just hitting into a net for now with no proper hitting/putting alignment).I am quite confident my tournament score will be the worst but enjoyed it and now the simulator is 75% with fixed targets I expect to improve. Just my opinion but the handicap doesn't bother me, for me it's an incentive to improve. But just my opinion.

I suck pretty bad right now. Fixed a lot of my game for the long haul but now must re Learn how to play. Building full sim is the greatest adult toy ever. I loved the first round and can't wait to play the next. It's already improving my game. Although putting is taking some practice.

I suck too. I put my sim together to practice and play more. I also just realized that I don't have gimmes on and I've been racking up my score, putting all over the place!

That was fun- terrible score here- a handful of my extra shots were due to the chipping distance being cut down a % in the settings... I swear I hit the ball for a 25 yarder only to have it go 15 or so.
Im thinking of removing that in the settings -I know it s more for flops so when the camera picks up the club instead of the ball it makes it work, but id rather just not flop it then.
anyone else have any issues with this...? oh- one more thing- Pro tee is the best for money sim imo- I just wish they didn't have the ball set so close to the last sensor and the mat has been trimmed so much near the ball, there is not enough grass and the ball sits down too much for consistency.

Tee the ball level with the surface. or place it just in front of the hole my friend that's what many do. You can buy those tiny castle tee's on ebay for almost nothing and they are perfect for leveling the ball.

I'd assumed the gimme settings were set and locked down at the Tour level. Can I turn on gimmes for tournament play?
