I'm curious about something. I hit a hybrid over the creek crossing on one of the holes from 240. The ball rolled back in but the game put me back at 240. I thought this was fixed and a drop was added. Why is it that sometimes there's a drop and sometimes there isn't?

Strainge? It should give you a drop way up. Which hole was it mthunt?

I have talked about this before where the drop is not always working right. I tend to test on Craig's Protee world tour par 3 course (don't have the exact name off hand). On the first hole hit it into the water and see what happens. You don't get a drop option but are just placed back on the tee. I don't think its just par 3's. On a course I made,par 4, that has water running down the right side and then crosses the fairway 180 or so yds out. If you hit straight and hit that water crossing you have normal options for drop but if you hit sideways to the right and enter that area of the water it drops back on the tee.

I thought it might be if there was rough right up to the hazard but that was not the issue. I think it is a bug that has never been looked at as it always worked some times and some not. Just long ago we never had the options for the drop and when it did work it would just place you where you went in.

I have had a similar experience. I never thought much of it until now. On a different note. Is anyone else other than me going to try to drive the green on Merion east #10? Seems like a low percentage shot but would be great to get an eagle on a par 4.

I tried to drive that green. No luck. Great track!

I hit autorewind and was 1 for about 15. I really want to try it in the tournament. If you see that I have a 6 or a 7 on that hole..... that means that I went for it. I love holes like that.

It's the par five with a creek 10 feet in front of the green on the front. Can't miss it. I'll also hit it in a lateral off the tee that rolled in and it put me back on the tee.

I put one in the creek from about 230 on hole#4. It dropped me right in front of the creek. I have seen on occasion that the game returns you to the original hitting position when you are expecting a drop.
