Practice round (9 holes). How much sand can you put on a course? This one will challenge me especially when I turn on the wind!

Is there not a way to turn on wind when setting up the tournament so no one can leave it turned off? I started and there was no wind so I had to exit, turn oni wind and restart.

I swear I must've played 16 holes before I noticed that wind was on. I was excited to play with wind on during a tournament, and then I forget to check it. Explains a lot of my shots that had negative spin and I saw them fade.

            I probably could've scored a little better. Can't believe I didn't notice it.

Any way to make the live leaderboard show current completed scores too, instead of just those that have played both rounds? Why not throw in live scoring too?

              Dear Pro Tee,
Sorry if I crashed your servers. I was playing round one & the PRO TEE software locked up. I went back in to finish the front nine and saw that I had two nines completed. I only finished the front nine in round 1 on the first round. Was hoping you could fix this. I was also wondering if there was a way to save games with guests? I had the same thing happen last Sunday when there was a group playing the simulator and when I reloaded the game only 1 score had been saved. Will this issue be addressed through some sort of update in the future?

Although I had the best round of my life and total score you will have to take me out of the running. I did not see that wind was to be turned on until opening this thread.
Played back to back rounds and I felt other then a few design flaws ie: trees right in front of you on tee box, it was a solid course. Or maybe it was I never play that well.
Took me about 2 hours overall.
We are off to Innisbrook tomorrow as my 9 year old daughter is playing in the Copperhead Classic this weekend. 9 states represented and 2 international players in her age group. Can't wait to put the caddy bib on!!
Thank you Protee for an affordable and fun training tool during the winter months!
Hope my luck here rubbed off on her when we were practicing tonight!

I wouldn't worry about it. I am sure you are not the only one who forgot to turn on the wind. This is the first tournament with wind. I vote for keeping wind in all future tournaments. I adjusted quite quickly as I played TGC on the xbox for about 2 months before deciding on purchasing it for the sim. What a great tool for a 9 year old competitive golfer to have. Best Dad ever!

@Slm I agree that it is a great training tool for kids. I have a flightscope KUDU that is a great launch monitor, but my kids do not want to just hit balls. It does not integrate with sim software that I know of. They want to play golf. Protee does that very well. My kids play at least 3-4 times a week. They are 10,13 and 16 yo. While I play TGC mostly, they love Protee courses so that they can play junior tees that they are used to.

                    Good luck to your daughter!

Why does wind have to be turned on by the user? cant it be a tournament preset? Someone out there could have 120 boost, mulligans galore and no wind.

I get that golf is a game of honor but Ive met all of one forum user in person. Oh well. It is what it is I guess. It's all fun.

I agree. Lock in wind or not by tournament. Not user.

I'd like gc2 users to not have mulligans. Or only allowed on shots without all data measured or carry under 1 foot, for shots detected from moving ball

Tonight I was playing my first round along with 2 kids and the system locked up. We were on hole 5 or 6 and I had a bad tee shot so I was hitting from the woods and everything stopped responding. I restarted the interface twice. Restarted the sensor board twice. It seemed that the icon in the bottom right that indicates that it was downloading was on constantly. For whatever reason I had to quit the round and restart TGC. Of course that meant that the kids were out. The round restarted after hole 2 so the data from 3,4,5 was gone. As it goes, I played about the same. For me a terrific front 9 at 5 over. Tomorrow I will finish the round.

Was this a bad internet connection??

That sounds like the Internet went out for a bit.
