TGC Spring Tour - Colonial Invitational

It's not that hard on the tour and it's lots of fun. Lots of fun!!!!!! I play the same then real life. Between mid 80s and mid 90s. Plus protee is a awesome company as well. Never seen that good of a service!

My tour handicap makes no sense. I just don't get it. 7 after q-school. Says 8.x when I play. Has been 2 (changed to 7 after I questioned it), 1.8, and now 0 (really!?) for each of my 3 tournaments.

I just want transparency.

First round, not so good. +22. I had 3 putts that bounced over the hole and past 3 inches, UGH .

BTW, I usually trust the driver alignment that it TGC gives to start a hole. On this course though, I trusted it and was led into the rough. I will be hitting Q before every shot from now on.

Yeah..... it was weird that sometimes the alignment was off by quite a bit.

The alignment appears to be dependant on how the course is created. To start, you draw a line from the tee, you have a midpoint where you can add a dog leg, and then to the middle of the green. The starting aim off the tee follows this line, so if the fairway deviates from the line, the aim off the tee won't be where you want to hit it. I noticed this while working on a course I hope to publish soon.

iskuo and i have two entries in this tournament. we tried to play the tour together online and instead of continuing the original tour it seems to have started us both over with a separate entry. i assume if we finish the 2nd round the first entry will go away if it remains unfinished. not a big deal but how do we avoid this in the future?

Just check to see if it still let's you enter the tournament, happen to me last week and stl let me enter it so I was good to go

Only two warmup practice swings and rushed a little, but it could have been worse. Looking forward to the Memorial!

Congratulations on winning Bubs. You've shown some solid improvement over the last 7 rounds. 6 out of the last 7 rounds under 100 and 4 out of those 6 in the low 90's. The previous 13 rounds before that......0 out of 13 .... under 100.
