Thanks, I was putting like a mad man. Course I'm sure that will only last a week.

Can't wait to play this course. I'll do it at the end of the weekend since I'm recovering from trigger finger.

I used to go to this tournament when I lived in Boston, it's held a few towns over from where I lived. Great course. I actually saw Tiger hit a guy in the head because he over shot the green. He signed the ball and gave it to the guy as he was being carted off on a stretcher. Also saw Berman and Trump play that day (it was the Pro-Am on Wed.)

meh. played this course so well in practice rounds and then threw up all over the place for 2 rounds.

              consistent though!

Same here, played a 80 in my practice round, figured after that my tourney round should be really good....well think again lol ... doubble on 1 and tripple on 3 hahahaha if there is no water for me to go swimming i just simply hit it out of bounce lol

Well round 1 was one of those rounds that if I had been striking the ball well I would have been around par or maybe even snuck in a sub-par round, but as it is real simulator life sinks in and I played terrible. Didn't deserve to score an 80, but I'll take it the way I was playing. Driver wasn't as inconsistent as it has been in the past, but I did hit a few poor ones. There was one hole that had a dead tree on the right-hand side of the fairway. I hit a GREAT drive, but I played it to the left thinking I would get a fade. Played it dead straight and hit that dead tree right square in the center of the trunk :-).

My chipping was terrible again and that's really what cost me. I hit one out of bounds because I didn't take the time to look at the preview screen. That's just stupidity right there. Changed putters this week. Never been a blade guy, but trying out the Grenade blade from Bombtech Golf. I don't hate it, but I don't love it at this point. I hit it a lot more solid inside today then I did outside yesterday. Going to give it a few more rounds before I decide.

Overall I think this is a VERY scoreable track, so I was disappointed with the 80, but as stated it could have been a LOT worse today. So on to round 2.

I had a great practice round of 67..... only to shoot a 73 and 75 when it counts. Normally those would be great scores but this course has a lot of scoring holes. My first round of 73 included 2 in the water. Every par 5 is a good chance for eagle. I do love this course. If you stay on the fairway and drive it far on the par 5's, one can shoot pretty low. TPC Boston will always be a great filler course when there isn't an accurate one to play.

So, today was my first day back after that disaster of a round last weekend. I wasn't even going to play, just hit a few balls to work on things. That turned into a practice round, even though I was hitting like garbage. But, during that practice round, I figured something out. I have a very shallow back swing. But, I hit it well when I have even a more shallow back swing!

I birdied the first hole, then had a mental lapse on 2, but ended up saving bogey. Check out the chip in from off the green on 15 or 16 (forget which) for birdie!

Overall, it was one of my better rounds!

Well round 2 was just horrible. I had two out of bounds balls. One on the same hole as yesterday even AFTER looking at the preview screen. I only hit probably 5-6 quality shots. Three of them were putts. I had two 10-plus par saves and I hit a 47-foot save for double bogey on the out of bound ball play. I hit maybe two good drives all day. Chipping was below average again today and just didn't leave me with makable putts. Just an absolutely forgettable round of golf. Very disappointing on a course to score well on.

Well I've been playing good for the last few weeks but not holing anything and this week first round I dropped a few putts and played well. 2nd round could have been so much lower as missed a few inside 10 feet and had a double but hit it really well. Won't help my handicap but I'm chuffed to shoot two good scores. Worked out how to read the greens a little more and love this course obviously

Got round 2 in. Didn't go as well as round 1, but it wasn't terrible.

Was looking good and in with a chance at -3 on the 2nd round but imploded on the back 9. Great course though.
Looking like it's probably Fieldygolf or Daddio for this one. Great scores at this stage.
