Played the front 9 of round 1. Wow is it tight from tee to green. +5 after 2 then settled down and finished the 9 at +7 gross. But I kinda like this course despite the narrowness. Also I drove the green on 8 which was fun to watch. Missed the eagle by a foot.

Wow do I suck!!!!! Well it looks like I really play like crap after that round. I moved my Skytrak by mistake I thought it was lined up correctly boy was I wrong. Hahahahaha on the last couple of holes I got it lined back up. So this was a learning experience for me stop the round and check alignment. I really like this course but it is sure tight. My Courses:

Back to back low rounds for me on a course that just ate my lunch last time. Again just a couple of swings kept me from really going low. Hooked one of my drives into the water in this round which didn't help matters. That was VERY disappointing, because my driver has been behaving the last few rounds. It wasn't quite as cooperative in this round as I got stuck in the gunk a few times. This was by far and away the best chipping round I've had since the software upgrade. That was VERY exciting. Hopefully that will stay consistent.
Ended up -2 and tied for first right now, but I'm not sure if -2 is good enough :-(. Still very pleased.

First round. I started with a double then bogie. Then I was doing ok until a 9 on par 4 #17. I blame it on Gene. Tough to follow that shot yet I thought about making a hole in one until I popped up my drive into the bunker at 226 yards away. 2 wedges found the water over the green. Oh well. Round 2 later.

Does anyone know if there is a way to go back and look at your scorecard after you have completed your round and closed out?

Interesting course. Thought I was going to hate it after the first few holes, but it did grow on me a lot.

80 for round 1. I second Vincent's comments above. There wasn't a tee shot out there that makes you feel easy.Originally posted by st_golfer View PostPlayed the front 9 of round 1. Unable to complete round 2. Not that I was up for any prizes. I decided to play golf outside. Weather sucked and the fairways were aerated and the dirt clods still present. But it was golf and we will not have many more days outside.
Tomorrow it is off to Capitola, CA. I will try to get onto Pebble and Pacific Grove at least.
