From the main menu select PLAY-> PLAY TOURNAMENT -> ALL TOURNAMENTS -> SET FILTER TO PUBLIC COMPETITIONS

You can play by yourself, offline with friends or ghost players or online.

I think he was referring to the distribution of points. Now the top 15 and ties get more than 20 points and everybody else who finishes one round gets 20. In the last tournament, top 15 and ties ranged from net -2 to +3 because the new handicap system is working well to level the playing field. Then everyone else who shot from net +4 to +76 (or didn't finish) gets the same number of points. That removes some of the incentive to keep trying if you have a bad stretch of holes, particularly for guys with a low handicap who need to shoot near a gross even par to get any extra points. At least on the gross leaderboard there is more of a distribution in the top 15 ranging from -2 to +11.

With the money, top 30 get something and then lower than that gets nothing, so there is more incentive to keep trying even if your first round was bad.

Maybe instead of stopping at 20 points the next 20 spots should decrease one point per spot down to zero points for anyone below 35th place?
