Shot Recording and Tour Gimmie Settings

Guys, I hate to have to bring this up yet again but come on. In order to play on this tour you need to follow the rules. The rules for every tournament are as follows:

Gimme : within 2 yards / 1.8 meters
-the setting for this is done by going in to settings and setting GIMMIE RULE TO GIMMIE
-FYI, if you set it to DISTANCE and Set GIMMIE +1 and 15 yards I CAN TELL. That's Cheating!!!

Wind: OFF

Green Grid : ON

Boost: +/- 5% maximum on club settings
-If you set your driver to boost 50% I CAN TELL. That's cheating!!!

YOU MUST HAVE SHOT RECORDING ON. The following do not have it on. Please PM me as to why not. A few are new so get it done please. Instructions below.

I updated profile including TGC use ID....changed name in TGC settings........hope all is correct?

Have you hit any shots yet? Nothing there. Hit a few shots, then click on your name on the leaderboard then click on non tour recorded shots.

Looks like you got it working. After you have a lot more shots under your belt...... you can use the search field.... to look at a certain club or a certain surface...... I found this useful when I was trying to increase my LA on my tee shots. You will see your practice rounds in recorded shots non tour.

Any shot hit gets recorded, not just tour shots. Good luck in the next round

This may be a stupid question, but where can I view my recorded shots?

Click on stats, scroll down until you see "Replays" The cool thing is, you can actually watch pretty much the whole round. Change "Loop Shot" to " Play to the end" Then you can change which hole as it records your whole round..... There is a small bug that we don't expect to be fixed before TGC2...... If you go to hole 1..... it will hang after watching that hole..... so if you start at hole 2, you can watch your round.

The easiest way is click your name in a leaderboard then recorded shots

I'm in Florida so I cannot do a screenshot. It got to 90 today. lol

In "settings" the first gimmie tab gives the option for "gimmie", which is 6 feet and 1 putt, "on green" which auto 2 putts, "no gimmie" or "distance".

The next two setting below gimmie are for distance. One says anything inside a certain number of yards is a gimmie and the other is the distance you set for 2 putts counted. So if gimmie setting is distance and distance+ 1 is 5 and distance + 2 is 10, anything inside 5 is a1 putt, anything between 5 & 10 is a 2 putt counted and anything outside of 10 requires another shot.

Just scroll down to gimmies and set it to "GIMMIE". Don't worry about the reset.

All is well!! I am still fuzzy on how to watch a replay? I can't do anything with the specific shots on the tour website, went to the TGC stats and no replays are there?

Shot recording records data only. You can download the data to excel and create spreadsheets if you like.

As for replays..... you have to pause the game, watch replay, choose your name, add favorite...... then it will show up in your replays. and then you can watch....pretty much the whole round.

Stats, Scroll down on the right side, you will find replays. by changing loop shot to play to the end, you can almost watch the whole round. The first hole for some reason crashes the round, so you have to start at hole 2. I usually save a reply of most the tour rounds...... it's a good way to review the course..

Didn't know until now that there's something buggy with the down scroll button on that page for me bc when I click it it straight takes me into Stats History, BUT if I use my up/down arrows on my keyboard I can get down to Replays!! Chipped in twice on the last six holes at Houston and just watched those holes. Very cool thanks again Keither!!
