Need a little help. Finally got things going again and put up great first round -5. Don't love the course though. Aren't we missing a lake on 18. Was looking forward to having to make that decision.

Anyway, advanced to 1st tee for second round and tried to exit and things got all whacked out. Went into window mode and told me I was hitting 12th shot off tee. Got crash message and shut it down. When reopened still says hitting 12 off tee. Can someone restart round for me please?

I know.... this version is messed up. Hit V after pressing Q. What they need to do is give us an option of locking in a certain zoom.... That overhead putting view makes me nauseous.

The zoom cam is pretty annoying on this course. The 5wood club selection on all driving holes is annoying. My game is annoying. Watching keither willfully shape his shots is annoying. Ha! Just kidding, that's actually pretty cool. Whatever you're doing, I'd say keep doing that!

My sensor mat is very similar to ProTee's. If Protee could somehow add their mat to Skytrak and the GC2..... They might sell a couple.

It's percisely exchanges like these that forced my hand. My gc2 just arrived at my home and the hmt arrives next week.

For those of you having issues with the scout camera. We had this issue a few weeks back and ProTee gave a great tip. Set the scout cam on landing area then s key to back it up. You can back up all the way to your ball. If you wind up before your ball, hit the w key. I even use this now when the scout cam is right.

Gotta set the scout camera on the setting where the club would land, not auto. It will usually be past the flag. s to back up. Played a practice round on this course. Works like a charm. No backwards flip or anything like that. Has Same angle as always.

Played my first two tournament rounds last night and it was awesome! The added element of competition adds so much to the simulator experience. I thought I had set up my shot recording correctly but when I checked after the round nothing showed up...I'll try again tonight.

Couple of questions for the Skytrak users; when I enter the TGC nickname on the user settings of this forum, do I enter the username from the Skytrak TGC Settings or the Nickname from the Skytrak TGC Interface settings page. Also, do I need to change my TGC name (and nickname) to my forum username or does that get resolved through the forum settings? Hope that makes sense...

Well, I finished my rounds..... so much for practicing on hole 3....... it didn't help. I left myself in the middle of the green the last two rounds. I was not a big fan of this course... it seemed a little dated. I realize that the pros are playing it..... and that's why we are playing it. TPC Stadium looks more interesting. The fairways are crazy wide there. That should mean some low scores.

No, not yet, I just started getting the hang of moving the ball a couple weeks ago. I still haven't worked on my driver or woods yet. I was planning on working on woods and driver this week. TPC stadium is a nice course for that..... really wide fairways. Hopefully by spring I will be better at shaping all of my shots. I have a long way to go to get proficient at shot shaping..... Hole 3.... during the last two round.... I tried cut shots and the both went straight.... leaving me with long putts.

Ya, I know you said that you "failed" on #3 because you hit it in the middle of the green. I actually say that was a success and the whole point of shaping the shot. Your miss was in the middle of the green. Your old method, a straight shot would have been in the abyss.

You are right..... I was actually quite mad at myself...... I can do it practice but when it counts... not so much.... So my miss is still playable. I am starting to look at the slope of the greens and shape the shots accordingly. My golf pro buddy says that will shave off 2-3 strokes off my score. You want your misses to run towards the hole.

The beginning of my third round I walked through the FOV a couple of times while the game was paused.... 3 phantom shots. I won't do that again with my bright white shoes.

Crazy zoom views are really f'ked up....impossible to use, whats the deal with that. Should have nothing to do with course design or choice, should it?? DoeS PROTEE have an answer??

There was a possible fix on page 1, but I haven't had a chance to see if it works yet.

It absolutely works. I played last night with no issues. Remember, have to set the scout cam view to landing area, not auto. Use q or w to go either way. I havent changed it back to a few weeks ago when the course had the same issue. No nauseous view, same as usual view, just takes a few more seconds. I'm going to make it it's own thread.

Started playing in events again today. Played a practice round and shot even par then shot +11 in 1st tourney round. I had to rewind one shot on the second hole. I had 10 ft for birdie and the put went 38 ft. Hope nobody minds. I still hate putting on ST. I think I had 3 3 putts and a 4 putt.

New best round's are always a good thing. The first time I shot in the 70's, I took a picture of the scorecard and emailed to my buddy. Careful on the next event..... there are a few turtle back greens.... at least from certain directions they seem that way. Take your time looking past the hole as it may save you a stroke or two.

I am going to start a club...... Club 59..... for membership, you have to shoot a 59 under tournament rules. So far...... sadly ...... we have no members. Little Brook manor counts..... please record your round if you can do it.

Brettskermetzger had a solid round with me during group play last night for sure i think he was -4 and i was -1 going into the turn and then he put on the afterburners, i on the other hand had my daughter call with a car breakdown and my game went to crap dealing with tow companies and getting her home, while i was playing the back 9, brett can hit a friggin long ball thats for sure,

lolololol I wish you could of kept it going...i've never seen someone scramble so well during an event especially at this course...some of the best pars i've ever seen!!

Hey just for the record we did both birdie 3

          • #29
I'm having a major issue. I have now played 7 holes. My software is not showing elevation changes... Even on putting green. It's literally cost me 7 strokes in 7 holes. 2 three putts, 2 four putts, and a shot that went way long. Guess I won't be competing this week.

Check out these misreads! About one per hole before I gave up. WTH is going on!? Then I lost my connection, then I lost wifi. What Gremlins will await my next attempt to play a tournament round!? Restarted it and it seemed to read okay again on a non-wifi par 3 course.

Pictures aren't clear so here is the breakdown:
20 yard chip from the sand goes 280+ yards.
Well struck 8 or 9 iron goes < 2 feet.
Gently rolled putt goes nearly 100 yards.
