This looks great. I'm in the market for a new overhead system and was planning to go uneekor but this has me second guessing now.

    A few questions...

    1) When will this be available for purchase?
    2) Will it be available for US customers?
    3) Will there be a subscription to use the hardware with other software?

Hopefully the units will be available in the next few months so keep an eye out for further announcements. The systems will be available globally and will openly integrate with other software options so subscriptions and one times will depend on the software suppliers options

Looking for advice. I am interested in ceiling mount. I do not use for instruction or fitting so the numbers dare not important to me (with in reason). Shot accuracy is more important to me than the "numbers". I pretty much play golf with my buds during the winter months. Currently have SkyTrak and misreads and sim software freezing up has been painful. I hope these offer a robust experience regarding misreads and software interfaces with sim s/w. All being said, which of the three monitors do you recommend? Thanks in advance

Hey Ricky! I would recommend our VX Launch Monitor. It is competitively positioned and priced at $6500 and has high accuracy, and you can play with premium golf balls. It has a very intuitive interface with an integrated range which shows your data clearly as well as presents all data and ball flight path practically instantly.

In terms of which software to go with the system, we of course recommend TGC 2019. We are currently working on the integration of the other software’s, which will become available later this year.

Any chance of 2K23 being modified to replace TGC 2019?

Hi Martijn, thanks for all the updates.

The differences between RX and VX seem apparent.

I'm curious about the attributes that make the RLX more expensive than the VX.
    - The VX already uses unmarked balls/clubs.
    - It is listed as the same mounting location.
    - The RLX is listed on multiple sites as $7500 for preorder, yet it has less ball, club, and flight measurements than VX.
    - The VX seems to be the first model ProTee is looking to bring to market, so are there more features the RLX will be bringing "later in the game?"

    Thanks very much!

Hi, thank you for your interest in our Products! The RLX is already fully integrated with AI which is giving you your accurate ball and club data and has a more slick design with ready indicators that can be changed to 8 different colours.

Thanks Martijn! We appreciate the info as we're eager consumers. I assume the added $1000 price of the RLX over the VX is the differences in the A.I. software for shot analysis (and not the 8 led light colors & shape). Does this mean that the shot-analysis accuracy is better on the RLX than the RX? The marketing on the website reads "Vision and A.I. powered high speed ceiling Launch Monitors" meaning plural. If all 3 are camera-based ("Vision" in ProTee market-speak), and all 3 are A.I. powered, the clarity on the limitations and abilities of the units is unclear. As I mentioned before, the RLX looks like an inferior unit to the VX based on the website specs, but I seem to understand from your message that it sounds like the RLX is the flagship unit. Is this correct? Thanks so much for your time!

I really want to upgrade to one of the VX units, but I'm curious what software options will be available right off the bat. I'm content with TGC19 for now, but the interwebs tells me GS Pro is pretty awesome and likely to be the better software moving forward.

You realize that this is the same company that made/sells TGC2019 right?

Anyone know what the minimum ceiling height is? I have 9'-0" floor to ceiling.

Thank you for your interest in our products! For the VX our minimum ceiling height is currently 9 feet or 275cm. We would recommend a ceiling height of 10 feet or 300cm for optimal use! This information however is subject to change. Hope this answers your questions!

Thanks Martijn for all the replies! We appreciate the info as we're eager consumers. I popped this comment above, but it may have gotten lost.

As I understand it, the A.I. software is a learning software, where it "get's better with every stroke," learning your swing and game play. I assume the added $1000 price of the RLX over the VX is the differences in the A.I. software for shot analysis (and not the 8 led colors & case shape). Does this mean that the shot-analysis accuracy is better on the RLX than the VX & RX? As I mentioned before, the RLX looks like an inferior unit to the VX based on the the ProTee website specs, but the posts you've made in other threads note the RLX as the flagship unit.

The marketing on the website reads "Vision and A.I. powered high speed ceiling Launch Monitors" - meaning plural. If all 3 models are camera-based ("Vision" in ProTee market-speak), and all 3 models are A.I. powered, clarity of the limitations and abilities of the units is unclear. Thanks so much for your time in helping us sort it out!

Is it safe to assume I could transfer my TGC2019 software currently used with a SkyTrak to the VX without a huge transfer fee?

Thank you for your question! If you fully own TGC 2019 from the one-time payment option, it will be free to transfer to ProTee United's new line of Launch Monitors. I hope this answers your question!

      Hi,

Am planning to build a new golf sim and the VX sounds ideal (current sim is skytrak which is ok but misreads, no club data and left/right hand group play issues make it lacking). It would be really helpful if you could let us know where the VX needs to be placed relative to the tee area / screen and how wide the tee area is that the ball can be placed? Also, will it need some kind of protective case for sky shots etc?

      Thanks, Damian

Hi Damian, Thank you very much for your question, we appreciate your interest in our products. I have attached an image of our current minimum and maximum mounting requirements. The Tee area can be up to 50cm x 50cm or 19 inches x 19 inches. I hope this helps and thank you for considering ProTee United for your golf simulation needs. If you have any more questions, feel free to let me know.

Thanks Martijn, that's really helpful. Just to clarify, is the VX height shown above the height of ceiling surface it is mounted on or some other point on the unit itself? Any thoughts on protective case or similar as this seems to be well within the sky shot zone (for playing partners, not me of course!)? Also, are there any particular lighting requirements?

damiang Hi Damian, we have created an updated version of the mounting guidelines which will show more accurately the distance between the hitting area and the VX launch monitor. To answer your question, the system will be close enough to the hitting area to have a minimal risk of hitting the VX system with a ball. Therefore we don't currently have a protective case for the system (for your playing partners, not you of course). The shown height is from the ceiling to the floor, not the system to the floor. For lighting, we have no specific lighting requirements, however, the system should be kept away from direct sunlight. Hope this answers your questions!

Hi Martijn. Just following up for clarity - will this be able to be plugged in to a router and then accessed by the PC connected to the same network, or does the unit have to be plugged directly into the PC?

It will plug directly into your ethernet port on your PC. You then need to use WIFI or a secondary ethernet adapter (USB to Ethernet adapter for example) to connect to the internet.
