I was watching that and expected the price to go up at the end. That does seem like quite the deal. The only thing that I can figure is now that Skytrak with TGC is around $3k, the price of other simulation options is going to start coming down accordingly.
Deal was legit. I purchased my ProTee system through eBay a couple of years back.
I think they put a few systems up for sale on eBay in the Spring just to sell a few before the outdoor season starts. ProTee was classy enough to custom cut the impact screen for the system I bought.
This last sale is almost literally a steal since it includes TGC as well as the sensor hardware, etc.
As far as the choice between Skytrak and ProTee, I don't see them as competitors since they kind of filll different needs. ProTee is more suited for a permanent sim install. SkyTrak is better for temporary set-ups.
I will add ProTee gives great feedback on club and ball. Off the subject I thought my left hits IRL were swing path. Turns out it was more club face. It truly helped my game outside of the sim world. Not sure the feedback SkyTrak gives but ProTee for the money (especially the low price mentioned above) is a great deal.
I see an entry in the config for "external data" or something to that effect. Wonder if that was a hook for something like a SkyTrak or any LM. Does anybody know what that parameter is for in ProTee?
