i originally used strong velcro strips to attach the hitting sensor to the bottom of my platform but the adhesive has come loose. on fat shots the sensor can sometimes bounce up and move a little which can change the club path/face angles a couple of degrees. any suggestions on how to securely fasten the sensor so it wont move?

Not sure what advice to give. Most people (I assume) have built thier sensors into a recess in their subfloor or hitting platform so there is no where for the sensor to move to. If you have a well fitting 'box' or recess into which the sensor fits, it won't be moving at all.
Maybe you could show us a picture of your current set up?

If its in a recess but still moving , then try shimming it with thin strips of wood.
Mine is not 'tight' since you still want to be able to remove it at some point. If the front of the sensor is resting against the wood blocking then any movement, as a result of a ball being struck, should be negligible. The force of the strike is forward unless you are seriously out to in or in to out.
We're talking about milliseconds from the strike to the ball leaving and all this being recorded. Not sure that that's enough time for the sensor pad to move enough to affect the readings.
