    New Protee User struggling

    Hi,
I received my Protee earlier this week and due to work and family needs, I haven't been able to spend much time setting it up. I have worked through a few hurdles and am stuck at this point:
-I have the sensor mat connected and it shows the "Read To Swing" in green.
-In the Protee Golf Interface, I am trying to get it to see a swing with my hand, per the instructions, but nothing is showing up.
    - I have went into the Debug area to see if any of the sensors show anything that might indicate they are getting data, but nothing.
-I confirmed there wasn't a Microsoft Ball pointing device that needs to be disabled.
-The instructions say to install the Serial to USB driver that comes with the flash drive, but it doesn't indicate which one should be run for Windows 10
-I went to the Prolific site and tried downloading their Windows 10 driver to see if that helped, but it didn't
-I have tried restarting the Pro Tee Golf interface numerous times to see if that helps.

    What am I missing?

    Thank you

Also, once a minute, the Synchronizing Sensormat shows up in the messages for about 4 seconds.

Did you set up the overhead lights and are the aligned (pointing straight down over the sensor systems and light circles do not overlap each other) ?

If all the boxes are ticked in the debug area, then the sensors are not receiving light or enough light.

Thank you for that suggestion. I connected the light and the swings are registering.

I knew that Protee was a great system, but needed proper configuration to get it up and running. I have encountered some other challenges. Can customers buy the support option I see listed on the swingsense site and get full help getting the system setup? It might be a worthwhile thing for me, considering all the various parts of this system.

My question is if that support covers a certain 'issue' or if it's good for all questions and issues a customer has.

        Thanks

Contact them directly and look at their support site: http://csc.protee-united.com/hc/en-us

They are very helpful. Don't know if any of us have paid for a support option, but we've all been helped. ProTee gives great customer support. They will walk you through your set-up.

I'm not sure what the deal is with the support option on swing sense but I bought my protee from another resaler and protee has been great at answering every question I have had on setup and other issue and I haven't had to pay for that. They support your system simply because they back theirsystems. They will even set up remote sessions where they will take control of your computer and make settings for you. There is a wealth of info on here too, the hardware and general sections in particular. Believe me, if I can do it, anybody can. It takes patience though. Once you get it set up and dialed in you will love it.

I had numerous issues setting my system up. You have to make sure you have the correct lamps and lighting system set-up or nothing will work right. My retailer didn't make this clear to me. I have used the Protee Support a couple of times and they were able to work out the kinks.

Thanks for the input. I have been emailing support and they've answered my questions and helped a lot. I've gotten to the point where I have the sensor mat working and the camera connected. The documentation is pretty light about how to configure the clubs. In fact it just says, "Configure the sensitivity and the ball detection levels to correctly capture the ball for Drivers/woods, Irons and Wedges." How does one do that? I will search this site now to see whatI can find.

Try and set-up an on-line help session with Protee if you can't configure the Cameras. I will say this though - the default settings are usually pretty good 'right out of the box'.

I would avoid making the adjustments to the cameras that are documented in older posts on this forum. I made those changes and the results weren't very good. ProTee did an online session and as I discovered later, basically set everything back to the defaults and the cameras worked almost perfectly.
