    Won't read putts

I have my cams in sensible working order - still getting more misreads than I'd like, but I'm working through those in another thread. Anyways, Its working well enough to try a around of golf. I chipped in for a birdie on my first hole (woo!) and when I hit the second green, I found I couldn't putt. Use putting track is on in the interface, there is a green light on the putting track as well. I went to the debug mode and hit a putt over and watched groups of sensors go red as the ball passed over them. I restarted the interface and TGC, making sure to run both as administrator. I tried putting from the area between the sensor pad and the putting sensor as well as from the tee location, being careful not to cover the sensor with my shadow, none of which would launch the putt. The only thing that worked was hitting a chip from the green, and that's obviously not ideal.

    Suggestions?

    Thanks.

    Did you select putter?

If you are using a mallet type putter try a blade type putter and see if that helps. I have had trouble with the mallets like you describe in the past. But not for a year or so. But I have found that there is a couple of the Odyssey mallets that don't read correctly with the latest update.

Bubba - it said putter in TGC. When I hit the "putt" with a 3 iron, the ball stayed on the ground as expected, just went a long way.

Hoosier - I was using a blade putter.

The putting sensors should show you the following when you open the DEBUG window in the PROTEE GOLF INTERFACE:

1] All sensors on both sensors rows should be OFF (not checked / triggered).
2] When you roll a ball over, there are about 4 sensors triggered on each row.
3] On each row you should see only 1 sensor light up in RED.
4] Each time you roll a ball over, the counter CP should show a different value.

There is something wrong when more then 1 RED sensor on a single row is showing. Check for debris and check if your overhead light has been setup correctly.

The putting sensors only work when the PUTTER has been selected in ProTee Golf or TGC.

Make sure everything is working in the interface before you test in the game.

Post a screenshot or video on what you see in the DEBUG screen when you roll a ball over the putting sensors.

Sensor 19 on on of the rows was stuck on. There was threads of turf overhanging it. I trimmed the turf and everything is good now.
