Protee lighting

I have a few questions about lighting.

1) Do you have to use the lighting that comes with the Protee? Or is there another bulb that you can use that is a standard screw in bulb? If you have to use their light fixture, what power source can I get here in the US to run it.

2) Does the light have to be directly above the sim. Can it be 2 feet in front?

3) Can the putting sensor be directly in front of the standard sensor or must it be as Protee suggest 3 feet in front of the standard sensor pad?

1] Strongly recommended. The difference between a standard halogen bulb and our is the diameter (2x normal size) and the candle power (600 vs 4000).

2] The lights need to be positioned directly on top. See image below.

3] Use the cable from the putting sensors as minimum distance. The 2 overhead light circles on the floor should not cross each other. They are also required for the VCam to work correctly PLUS you need to place the ball for putting approx 1 feet in front of the putting sensors.

Hi Protee

Thanks for the quick response. However, I already understand the ideal lighting setup. Im trying to work with less than ideal conditions. We have 13 foot ceilings in a leased building. We don't want to hard wire the lighting included. We are trying to use a track lighting from a bar extending from our enclosure. This is the reason for the work around.

So for starters could you suggest a conventional screw in bulb. Also, could you suggest some power supply so hard wiring is not required if we cant get a convention bulb to work.

The wiring is simple. Just connect to a 12v transformer and then to a patch cord that plugs into a standard 110v outlet. Takes about 5 minutes to set up and costs $10. The DIY lighting thread has more info on track lighting options that people have tried.
