    TGC offset and boost functions?

I don't own TGC yet but want to do some research before i take the plunge. (is there a demo/test version?)
When you set the offset does the ball still start in the middle or does it start where you hit the screen?
    Can you save multiple players?
Can you set one player to have boost function? ( i play with my kid and put the boost on for him)

99 percent sure it starts where you hit the screen when you have offset on. You cannot save multiple players. The boost is a universal setting (applied to all).

Thanks for the answers. I guess i'll keep playing fr1 with him, it's really great when i can play back tees and he plays front tees with full boost on :-)
I guess TGC would be for me only :-)

Multiple tees is high up on the list for TGC2 which should be released this year. TGC2 is most likely going to be a free update for those with TGC. Not too sure if boost per user is on the radar for TGC2.

I am about to make a decision on sim software also after buying a Skytrak this week. I have a question on offset also. I think it's the same as Snaphook's. My room is a little small to line my ball up directly in the center with the projector. So I have to hit about 16" offset to the right of the screen. This will create a little bit of an alignment issue and could potentially hurt my live game. I'm wondering of TGC has an adjustment that can shift the image right a little while still filling the projector screen? Or how have others dealt with this? It has to be a pretty common thing.

Might be a stupid question, but what does the camera offset do? why would you use it?

I am so glad to have found this! I never realized how much the offset was messing with me until playing a round with a friend yesterday and watching him.

I have now gotten TGC and the offset alignment "camera offset" works great and super easy to set up. I would not want to play without that feature.
