Protee software crash when moving to projector

I get this error after I start protee on my main screen and I move it to the projector screen in extended mode. When I open it duplicating displays it works fine. I have reinstalled the protee software and that did not help. I am suspecting it is a video card setting but I do not know what to look for. My card is an Nvidia gtx970. Any ideas on what to do.

I rarely use protee but I have a group of 7 coming over in a few weeks to play and I need the multiple players in protee.

Its a DirectX 9 issue. You can not move ProTee Golf 2.0 to another screen. You will get that DirectX "crash". Use cloning/duplicating, or try to set your projector as your primary screen.
