Ball Speed Sliders vs Practice Ball Speed

If I wanted to use Almost Golf Balls for everything except wedges and putting, should I just set the practice ball speed to 1. Next I'd then set the ball speeds for each individual Driver, wood, and iron separately to 1.2 in the ball settings? Is this the equivalent to setting the practice ball speed to 1.2 on the initial settings page? My goal is to make chipping and pitching more realistic with better feel as well.

I’m trying to find out if changing the ball sliders in the interface is the same as adjusting the practice ball speed so I can use a foam ball for woods and irons and a real ball for wedges and putting. Thus I’d set the practice ball speed to 1.0 and the ball speed to 1.2 for woods and irons.

Yes, change only the ball drag adjustment factors for specific clubs.
Lower the drag for more distance.

The slider will increase the ball speed for all clubs. You can do the same for individual clubs in the ball screen.

Drag will not change the measured speed, it will increase distance without touching the measured speeds.

Your saying not to use ball speed but use ball drag instead?

I am trying to compare the "practice ball" slider adjustment setting on the initial settings page to the ball settings on the ball interface screen. 1.2 seems about right for "Almost Golf" foam balls for the practice ball slider. What does the practice ball adjustment do? Does it affect only drag or ball speed or both?

I am trying to setup my protege so I can use "Almost Golf" foam balls for driving and irons but use real balls for wedges and putting.

I did increase the ball sliders for the specific clubs and it did seem to work as expected. I wish there was a separate slider for pitching/chipping instead of having to go thru each club bc sometimes you chip with a 9 iron.
