Ok what am I missing??

For my TGC and Protee I have a brand new rig with only TGC I have an Nvidia gt1070 3.4ghz processor 2 TB hard drive and 16GB Ram but it is kinda of choppy when the play shows the ball in flight. I have at medium setting at 1920 x 1080 and windowed all my nvidia drivers are updated. What am I missing?

Mine goes terrible if I minimize and look at another window and back to the game. 1080 here, certain courses are graphically demanding too

Something is going on because you have plenty of hardware....I forget how, but google and find out how to display your FPS (frames per second) through nvidia...there is a way to make it display in the corner of your screen. I have a similar setup and I have all TGC settings at max and I run very smoothly, never had an issue.

May be check on the nvidia board for help....

I have 9th gen I7 rtx2080 16gb of ram and some courses just lag you out no matter what you have.

What course where you playing?

Certain courses you have to turn down graphics until you find an acceptable fps. For example this weeks tournament is at Bay Hill and I had to turn object detail to 4 and turn down trees a bit and still dropped me below 30 fps on some shots.

Good news is is TGC2019 runs a lot better and from what I have read this is not an issue in 2019.
