Maybe, I will give it a shot. However, I never had this issue while playing the Protee Redchain software.Originally posted by Richard_Askren View PostIn my experience in my indoor golf center so far those shots are caused by the shadow of your head being over the ball track. It's common on short wedge shots for that to happen. Make sure you're not casting a shadow on the sensors with your head and body.

Glad to read this thread.. I was thinking it was just me having problems... seems to work ok with 54 and 50 degree wedges, but not so much with the LW. The higher lofted shots can be tweaked in the setting files, but the low driving lob wedge with with say a 35 degree launch angle seems to be a real problem travelling about 50% more than I think they should, so I think I'll just avoid playing that shot for the time being... but looking forward to playing it again some time soon.....
So overall and interesting simulator day, in addition to wedge issues, putter sensor stopped working, trim around top of screen fell down, tee for hitting off of ripped, and when I first signed in today all clubs were going about 30 yards shorter then normal until I rebooted... Is there a full moon today??

oh boy and before the ryder cup. Now that you say I have had my putting sensor not read a shot and that has never happened before. I unplug it and then plug it back in to the sensor board. It seems to work but not sure that is the issue. May be another bug.GC2 Eastern Time Zone, USA

I did like wise, powered down and rebooted and also think I had crept too close to the sensors so I moved back, seemed to be working alright until I ran into my tee and trim issue, which hopefully will be resolved either today or tomorrow, so that I can get back up and running.Last edited by Cklguy2013; 12-15-2014, 05:45 PM.

I did some testing of my own today with the wedge settings. Seems the lob wedge has the most trouble with the long launched shots. With my sand wedge it rarely happened.

New interface now ready to be tested. Must make the required changes for the new wedge fix to work. Warning: This is still a beta interface.
You can download it here: http://golfsimulatorforum.com/groups...-beta-software

Hey Zmax, I played around with this a bit tonight and a couple observations, with using club head speed for both pitching and chipping makes 40 or 50 yard wedge shots very tough, so I switched chipping and pitching distance both to 25 yards. Also, on the chips the balls doesn't come out with much speed at all, so you have to hit your chips pretty hard. On the positive side when pitching from 20 yards, you don't get those bit jumpers like we were getting before.

bunker shots were very hard last night. Way more hard to get out of the sand then ever before. I was swinging as hard as I could and hitting the ball hard and was only getting a couple of feet. But once I was out of sand and in the rough the ball would act pretty good.GC2 Eastern Time Zone, USA

Bubs, were you perhaps hitting these shots too far behind the ball?Originally posted by bubs3141 View Postbunker shots were very hard last night. Btw, 3.03d3 is now in the beta section ready for testing. Added another tweak for flop shots. Let me know.
