  • clubhead speed misread, launch angle backwards loop

I'm getting some sort of misread. I can hit the ball half to maybe three quarters swing, read is fine. Full strength swing results in a clubhead speed misread and a ridiculous launch angle that actually loops back behind and lands back on the tee. An example would be an 8 iron half swing fine, but full swing indicates 151 mph with the ball looping behind and landing on the tee.

Try directing your light a little away from your follow through side and confirm the vcam isn't picking up your follow through as the launch angle.

Only reason I could think of for a misread that goes up, though the ball speed is also suspect.

Make sure you have a black background awayvfrom the v cam and try less ambient lighting. Also,, I had a buddy who had a white Nike logo on his clubhead and this would happen often for him until we put a piece of black tape over it.

I would say the above members are likely right. If you are not sure how to get to the cams. Go click on the interface and bring it up on the screen, click settings in the menu on the bottom, click more on that next screen, and then click V cam. Hit a shot that does not read correctly and see where the red like leads. You may want to click camera devices in screen menu on the bottom. You may want to experiment with Gain, FrameRate, and Shutter to see if you can get improved results. I might suggest starting with Gain or Shutter settings.

Glad to hear. Lighting and the ball streak are the first things I check when a bad read happens.
        Working...
