Are there any recommend drivers besides the one on the protee USB for the vcam? On Windows 10 after installation and restarting the pc. It goes into a never ending bsod until I boot into safe mode and remove the drivers. It will also just say there is no camera device when I try to access it. Currently not using the USB extension cable.

This support doc describes the installation process. The driver is on the bottom of the document. However this is the same as on the USB.
A BSOD should never happen. Not even with other/newer Pointgrey drivers. There must be something else going on...
Here are a couple of things to look for/try:- If you have a virus scanner running, try to disable it.
- Disconnect all other USB devices (including the sensor mat).
- Check the device manager if there are devices not working/detected/driver less.
- Force a windows update. Make sure the latest updates are installed.
- Try installing the drivers first without the camera connected to the USB.

Tracked it back to Windows 10 net framework. Net framework 4.6 appears to not be compatible with the vcam drivers. Going to programs add/remove windows features and turning on net framework 3.6(?) fixed the problem. So now it's working and I just need to setup everything.
