Ok, finally got my protee bought and set up. I know the sensor is picking up the ball as in the interface it says ready for the shot and shows parameters of the shot. Now, how do I get protee play and the golf club to pick the info up. I go into play either the range or the course and the ball just sits there. It looks like it thinks it is a pc game and waiting for mouse input. Also can't I aim and preview with the touchscreen or mouse. I see 2 q and e as the options for preview and hole info. It isn't activated by a mouse or touchscreen? Also, it shows a picture of the club in the ads for protee but I am just seeing the parameters in text and in meters even though I selected imperial.

You should really read up on all the introductory/instructional threads on here first as well as read up on the instructions posted on protee's customer service website.
Or if you're lazy, request a remote session with protee and they'll help you do it via Team viewer or whatever they use. They'll even move your mouse around for ya

I have looked at many protee website items and comments on here. They are more advanced than the simple process of getting the basic interface working. I found something par2pro wrote and I see one issue is I dont have protee sim available in the menu, only protee play. ProTee's website leaves a lot to be desired. Thanks to par2pro and Corey for at least giving me a starting point. Now, to figure out why the sim is not an option. I am not lazy, I am limited in time like I'm sure we all are. I have been working 3 days to get this cage and sim set up and frustrated. I have gone off the comments on here to decide on this system and am not currently very impressed with either the protee or TGC. I hope my opinion changes on that.

In the ProTee Interface under Settings do you have the switch on to send info to TGC? The option is in the top right of the window and says "Use The Golf Club:" Make sure the box next to it is switched to the right and lit up bright green. If that box switch is on the left then the interface can't send data to TGC. Is your copy of TGC the simulator version, not the PC game version?

Thanks, yes, I opened a ticket with them and they offered a remote session. I contacted the guy that sold it to me and he sent me basic intructions. One thing from his intructions that may be intuitive to most but didnt occur to me was instead of closing the interface, which I thought was mainly just for setting up the sensor, I need to hit the tray button and leave it open. I am at work now so will try to break out of here in a few hours and try it but I suspect that may be the issue. I am surprized with all the documentation that detail isnt in there. I feel stupid as far as that but I would think somebody would have not known that. Maybe I missed it in all these discussions but it wasnt for lack of trying. Thanks for the feedback Richard. Hopefully that is the issue.

The issue was I did not leave the interface running in the tray. I feel stupid. Works great now! Thanks. Looking forward to joining all you guys in tournaments soon!

I think I am in a similar situation you were in and on the same time line of installation. I cannot get the sensor to work and the "red box" to turn "green". I tried to go to the interface but it said that my activation key expired and my machine id is different than before. I just got both my key and code last week. I have been all over this site, but I can't find any issues like mine. Are you up and running yet? Any suggestions for me? I have already emailed protee so perhaps that will resolve my issue.

Yes, I am up and running. Mine was a rookie mistake of closing the interface before opening the software. I thought the interface was just for configuration and the software would pick up the sensor mat. Lighting would cause this though, I have seen that happen. Mine is in a garage and I have my overhead spotlight on a power strip. I sometimes leave my other lights on and I see this and realize and turn them off.
