Something is messed up with the handicaps lately. In two months I went from a 6 to a 15 while shooting the same scores.

TGC handicaps are based on rated courses. Ratings are super low due to console play thus TGC sim handicaps are higher.Originally posted by keither5150 View PostSomething is messed up with the handicaps lately. In two months I went from a 6 to a 15 while shooting the same scores. My Courses:

These TGC feature requests seem to be scattered everywhere. I'm not sure how Protee keeps up with them. This thread isn't even in the TGC section! Lol
Anyway I've already posted my request for a smooth chase cam in the tgc section so won't repeat it here. But please don't forget about making the distance the camera follows behind the ball a user adjustable item. It makes a big difference and one size doesn't fit all.
I'd also like to see the favorites function expanded to a multilevel rating rather than the single level we have now. There are so many courses managing then becomes a problem. For me, five rating levels would be enough. That way i could rate them something like:
0 - On my list to try
1 - Tried and didn't like
2 - Tried and not bad, might play again
3 - Tried and liked, happy to play again anytime
4 - Tried and it's great, one of my favorites

Also a suggestion for the elevated camera view accessed by cycling through the 'V' key. This elevated view currently points down quite steeply so one can't see out into the fairway. I assume it is for the gamers to see their avatar swing? But for us sim players it might be more useful to show a view more like hitting from the second deck of a driving range. I notice TV often uses that view to provide a great look down the fairway.

Is this something that is possible? With the data now available online for your shot tracking, this would be really helpful.
B3 - Ability to define clubsets per player as well as club distances so the software can suggest the right club automatically (taking into account lie penalties, elevation change, etc.)

One thing that drives me nuts is the scout view for putting. Most of the time it goes to overhead view which I never use. It needs to remember what your preference was or allow you to set a default preference. I hit Q and then hit v ..... if I look at the screen, I may have a seizure or throw up.
I really wish that the ball trail was adjustable. As the ball nears the green it should go away as it is not needed. There is no need for a ball trail during the last 40 or 50 yards of the shot. The ball trail should be disabled during chipping. I leave the ball trail on because it is difficult to see the ball during tee shots without it. No ball trail would make the game seem more realistic especially around the greens. FC has a good point about an adjustable chase cam. With this, maybe I could go without the ball trail. I would also like to disable side view during drives.
All of the updates so far have been great...

I have a new feature to request. Ball Trail....on or off is all we have. I'd prefer to have it off if I could see the ball on the impact screen but sometimes depending on the sky, you lose the ball. So I play with ball trail on. If you are using the chase camera, ball trail is not needed when the ball is landing or when chipping. Ball trail is not shown when putting, so why is it shown when chipping. I think that within 50 yards it is not needed and also when the ball is landing. We want to see the shots ....yes, but we want it to look more like IRL.
