  • Irons have a strong draw on sim, but are relatively straight in real life

Where should I start looking first? My shot info almost always shows an in to out club path and closed face, even though I try to take extreme measures to correct the club face.

I have the exact same issue. I'm 99% sure it's being in a square room and how the LM is aligned. I hit 9 irons for an hour outside yesterday dead straight then came inside. I set up my sim using the flat putting green and some rods. Low,and behold, no draw.

I seemed to have fixed this rather easily by just setting all the 'Club_path_corrections' to 0.

By default they range from -1 to -3, and it seems as if they act as multipliers, where -3 would multiply any swing calculation that would create a draw, by giving a draw 3x stronger than it should be. I would assume setting this to +3 would take any slice equivalent data and multiply it.

Setting all club path corrections to zero may or may not be more forgiving, but it immediately appears to mirror my real life results the closest so I will stick with it.

Are you using a ProTee sim?

I have the same issue with ST, but I believe kinitex is referring to the Protee simulator. I've found some documentation on line discussing the corrections. Is there anything that can be done with ST to make the adjustments?

Is the club path corrections in protee's interface or the TGC settings. I too have the same problem of too much left especially with the woods. Sometimes I think it's my swing and then when in play real, golf the balls goes strait. Thanks guys.

I edited the settings in the interface by pressing ALT+E to bring up the config file. Scroll down a bit they are near the top. Setting them all to zero seems to have drastically improved the realism.

Ok thanks I will try that. Every club in my bag set to 0. Correct?? Appreciate the advise.

                  Quick question for Protee,

With regards to path and clubface settings. Does a negative number result in a more inside out path, and a more closed clubface, and vice versa for positive numbers, resulting in a more out to in path and a more open club face? And what do the numbers relate to? Degrees, multiples?

So if for example if I had a path setting of 0 and I wanted more in to out, I would replace the 0 with a negative number? And let's say my face was set at 0 as well, and I wanted it more open, would I use a positive number?

I had the same problem as you guys and mine is finally fixed after a lot of brain damage in the ALT E I was slicing like no other and I have a natural hook IRL but now I am playing exactly as I do on a real course.
