Brettskermetzger Really cool stuff. I need to play with this with my son's Hotwheels track. From your comments - it "seems" like the height of the unit anecdotally had an effect on "better" accuracy. It would be fun to understand if putting was actually designed into the SkyTrak, or if they figured it out software-wise after-the-fact when the sim integration finally happened.
I wonder:
--What if the SkyTrak was lower than the putting surface by 1/2 inch or so?
--What if the ball was placed 1/2 inch further away from the SkyTrak? (similar to the front/back shift for flops/drives)?
Both would be in an attempt to move the ball closer to the center of the field-of-vision and "prove" that it's too close to the edge of the same.
