So just FYI, I uninstalled and reinstalled v2.5.4 fresh form the website and all of my data came down (and there's a lot of it!). It may be worth uninstalling (or deleting on iPad) and start from scratch.

My last sync was at 02.02.2017 on my iPad. Since the update no sync at all. Just checked that. I will try to uninstall but that isnt the deal how it should work in general

Similar problems here. After daily use since installation, I've experienced more missed shots. Much slower lag with ball flight showing up in the screen. It's blown out to around 5 seconds at times now. Funny thing is, the lag gets worse, the longer I practice. After about an hour, it's almost unusable. But when first turned on, lag is around 2 to 3 seconds. Data sync, always says "syncing", no matter how long I wait.
Using a i5 laptop, USB 3 connection to skytrak. Laptop connected to my wifi.
I'll try an uninstall of skytrak on my laptop and then do a fresh install and try again tomorrow night and see what happens and let you know Seth.

Thanks guys, I'll get to the bottom of is asap. In the meantime to help us out, open the app with an internet connection and let it try to sync for 10 minutes, then send the log. Make sure to put in the body of that log email "cannot sync data". That will help a ton!

I normally practise at home connected in network mode to the internet. Presumably the sync happens async near-continuously and it has worked eveytime.Originally posted by SkyTrak View PostThanks guys, I'll get to the bottom of is asap. I used my ST at the range hitting approx 100 shots. When I got home it took an age to sync and even logged me out of the app twice. Presumably this sync happens when the app detects an internet connection, but in this instance it would need to sync 100 shots, significantly more data. Interestingly the pull from cloud to my pc happened quickly.
I notice the skygolf 360 app exhibits terrible performance for skytrak data, so bad I don't use it. Is the data pushing/pulling to a common location which is suffering similar performance issues? Am guessing there is potentially a much higher load if everyone is now pushing/pulling all of their data?

I haven't read this thread thoroughly, so sorry if this has already been suggested. Have you looked at a wifi analyzer app to make sure it isn't external interference? Maybe a neighbor just put up a new router or something and it is coincident with the upgrade.

PC over Wi-Fi seems to be having an issue. The device actually went (from the bottom) green red red in the middle of the a TGC round. I had no choice but to go back in and restart the TGC interface.
I have completed a scan and there is no interference or cross channeling. Only 1 additional Wi-Fi network shows up in my area so I don't think that's it. Also no other devices that are connected to the wireless router are experiencing this issue (PC, smartphone, TV's or tablets). Reserved IP's are also being used so it shouldn't be a DHCP lease issuer either.
I did find that Cylance (the company I use for antimalware) did terminate C:\WINDOWS\SysWoW64\WerFault.exe right in the middle of the round. So I have configured this to allow this to run. Will see if that sorts it out while playing TGC most likely tomorrow but it still doesn't explain the SkyTrak losing its connection.Last edited by Sledge0001; 02-17-2017, 03:25 PM.

I was playing in TGC and immediately after a shot it seemed to lock up. I assume the green, red, red was the Skytrak losing its connection to a Wi-Fi router. The computer did not drop the connection and TGC was still running however the Skytrak was non-responsive. After a few moments the Skytrak reconnected and I had to reconnect from the TGC interface.

Okay I believe this maybe a TGC issue and not a 2.5.4 issue.... I found it only happens on certain occasions when trying to putt from the fringe of the green. It seems as if it doesn't enter putting mode and then the skytrak interface crashes. I had it happen to me twice when trying to putt off the green instead of chipping it. ProTee United anyone report this?

Sledge mine was doing the same thing on JNPG. Yesterday it was taking almost 10 seconds to show a shot. Then after a while I started getting disconnected. I would hit a shot and the top light would go read like it read it then it would just freeze up and then after 30 seconds or so it would lose connection with the router (center light would go yellow).

Guys, we identified an issue late on Friday where we got a new error returned from the server and were not able to handle it in the app. I'm in the process of getting together a hotfix. It's too hard to try and get iOS to you guys to test because it involves provisioning your devices, so can anyone in here let me know if you are having the sync issue and use the SkyTrak PC app? Since I can't reproduce it on my own, I need to send it to those of you having the sync issue - if it works then will release iOS and PC asap.

I use the PC app and has the sync issue since the update. I've uninstalled and basically cleaned out all residual files and registry keys. Then after a reboot, installed the app again. Done this twice but still no data synching from the server.

I use the PC app and still have sync problems with the latest version. About the only issue I have at present. Still a few missed shots, but I don't think any more than usual. I'll need to try and record exactly how many missed shots I get per shots that get a read and let you know.

I have the issue.
Thanks,
Brad
